I’m telling everyone, Vandy is an absolute menace right now.

I’m as concerned about that game for Bama as I was UGA. They’re a terrible matchup for a banged up Bama DL.

Vandy has been my biggest concern after the first 3 weeks. I don't blame Bama fans or any fans for being worried about them. This isn't the Vandy of old and no one should take them lightly.

We better hope Pavia doesn't get another year of eligibility.

I wonder what the avg time is for Arnold before he throws the ball. It's gotta be over 3 seconds.

Maybe about 7 or 8 of those 20 sacks are because he holds the ball and wont make a decision.

Make no mistake, the OL does struggle with pass blocking, but it isnt all on them. The AU OL strength is run blocking and the offensive philosophy refuses to run the ball. There were 8...EIGHT carries by RBs in the A&M game. And 4 of those were on 3rd and 12 or longer where they were conceding the series to punt.

That type of shite is not acceptable. Especially in a game where the defense gives up 16 points. Its not like Auburn was down big and had to throw it around.

That's still a lot of sacks. Some of them are from him trying to scramble too but gets caught before he can cross the LOS.

They aren’t “oh they could raise up and beat someone” good.

They’re playoff level good from an analytics standpoint right now.

That is crazy. I made a thread last week saying the issue was a pass and qb run heavy gameplan. It seems to just be who Freezus is.

Bama will win in a blowout this year against Vanderbilt imo.

It is ridiculous. Even the QB run game has just disappeared since that 1st game against Baylor. He has so many rush attempts because of the number of sacks and scrambles. I dont think most Auburn fans would mind if he incorporated the QB run more as long as it is set up by trying to establish the run game with with RBs.

Cobb and Alston have averaged 4 or 5 ypc over the past two games. They had 13 combined carries against OU and the 8 against A&M. Neither game was out of hand to where we needed to throw the ball around. It just makes no sense to get away from what the offense does best.

Only 1 was actually his fault. I watched a lot of his tape before our game and he lived up to what I saw on tape against UGA and the other opponents. No one projected this guy to be this good.

Trying to figure out who is more sack prone... Sellers or Arnold.

Sellers has 14 sacks, but only 87 attempts; Arnold has 20 sacks but also 134 attempts.

Blowout huh? I’m not saying it can’t happen because anything can, but I don’t see us getting blown out by anyone this year. Hell, South Carolina was the only team that really blew us out last year and that was with a hobbled Diego Pavia. He was inured the second half of the season last year. Seems like every time Vandy beats someone they say that team is down. We’ll see what the narrative is after Saturday.

Yep. One also happened when his WR fell down right before he was getting to his spot. Just have to ignore mentally handicapped bammers.

Try a backup QB from a D2 school that has rushed 100+ and passed for 300+ per game. Tennessee isn’t a good team. Bama will destroy them. Defense has serious holes and offense is average.

Just hope he keeps us in it through the first quarter in all of our games. After that, I'm sure the Bama decline will set in and it will be a blowout. He was lucky to play Georgia this weekend.

20 SACKS??

AU is failing that young man.

Arnold holds on to the ball way too long. Half of those sacks are because he stands in the pocket like a statue for 5 seconds. The other half are because our offensive line sucks.

Cocks, State and Auburn. Is it the line or qb that’s the issue on sacks?
