Wait...are you saying missing your two best receivers can make a difference in the game? That's not what I've heard.

And Aggy beat Arkansas. And Aggy beat Bama last year. That’s not how rankings work all the time.

Get the frick out of here. LSU beat state by 15 two weeks ago. You don’t get to think you’re better than a team that beat you two weeks ago and you haven’t beaten a ranked team.

A team ranked higher than anyone on LSU’s schedule to date, whether fool’s gold or not.

7. LSU: Still have question marks offensively, but gaining confidence.

80 yards passing as team and 270yds as a team. You have a lot more than question marks. It took 4 Auburn turnovers for you to win by 4 points. You was giving 4 extra possessions and still had almost 200 yards less. I still don’t know how LSU won.

still like State better overall, so far. LSU could move way up though over the coming week. Stay tuned.

After you were reminded we beat them by 2 TDs.

Just change your name to Homer...or dumbass.

but our defense is among the worst.

The run defense is one of the best in the conference. It appears UT is making teams one dimensional so far. Maybe UT can become more rounded in defense S the season goes on.

Rebuilding year, after losing 15 players to the NFL, one of his best coaching jobs…I’ve heard this somewhere.

The comparison fizzles when you realize the team you are comparing them to goes to the final on a regular basis

No. Right now I can't trust our shitty defense to stop anyone. I'd put us at 4th, maybe 3rd if we can figure out how to play even mediocre defense.

I second this

easy to scheme against GA right now without our top WR’s as deep threats

So NOW it's ok to talk about injured receivers? Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Georgia fans.

That game was pretty damn even thru 3 quarters. That muffed punt on our 10 yard line that got LSU the go ahead score saw the wheels come off for MSU. You had all the momentum after that and yes, you used it well.

Cool story we aren't apologizing or giving the trophy back. Sack up and play ball, that goes for our guys too quit bitching and complaining about injuries and play ball.

Wore out yes. But y’all were losing for 3 quarters. It wasn’t some 60 minute domination

Wow. That's some serious mental gymnastics right there.

Edit: "Don't look at the final 31-16 score and loss, look at the first 3 quarters."

. I’m just saying that the logic of “oh well we beat that team” doesn’t always work when determining the better team overall.

As the season progresses there will be a bigger body of work to judge by but five weeks in head to head should be a huge factor. These things do usually work themselves out though.

But I’d argue if it was in Starkville, State wins.

Did you see the game? Y'all got beat up on either side of the line of scrimmage.
