Was langham the one that ran down the Miami guy in the early 90s sugar bowl and stripped him as he thought he was headed for a td?

George Teague ran down the mouth of the south Lamar Thomas.

Langham was the one that caught the interception to beat Florida in the 92 SECCG.

He and Darrell Green had some epic "Fastest Man" matchups on the field (although Green managed to win the head-to-head race).

Dude was an absolute burner.

It was a glorious play! Won us the 1992 SEC Championship because of him and that play. He deserves to be in the HOF!

Nope, but Langham is the one that had the Pick 6 in the very first SEC CG to break a tie that lead to Alabama curb stomping Miami.

I'm no bama fan, but that is one of my all time favorite college football plays.

Green, Gault, and Herschel had some epic races in Wide World of Sports.

Clips are on YouTube.

George Teague ran Copeland (corrected) down.

There were so many great plays in that game.

Fullback Martin Houston hit Rohan Marley and flipped him.

I want to say that Sam shade ran a pick six back as well.

Toretta had zero clue which defender was coming at him all day long.

Still don't get why CHOF only invites consensus all-Americans. Most of that is politics and it doesn't often demonstrate the real body of work.

So Manti Te'o can someday qualify for CHOF but not Julio Jones?

I agree where you are coming from

But does the hall of fame need 10,000 members? Or 1,000?

I'm on your side by the way.
Erk Russell wasn't head coach for 10 years (and they don't count assistants).
Erk (and maybe Mike Leach) are stuck outside the HOF parameters.

Oft-forgotten trivia note — Mario Cristobal was one of those guys attempting to block for Torretta that night.
