Where's ERK Russell? Willie Gault should've been in there years ago!

Michael Huff, Texas, DB

Jim Thorpe Award winner 2005
Defensive MVP of 2006 Rose Bowl BCS National Champion
Unanimous first-team All-American in 2005
4 career interceptions returned for touchdowns

In the Rose Bowl game against USC, Huff recovered Reggie Bush's fumbled lateral, and was the key defender stopping LenDale White's fourth down run.

Huff also ran track at Texas, recording a personal best 10.13 seconds in the 100 meters, and he drives a Lambo.

If I’m not bad mistaken I think Alabama was missing the guy that had started at Middle Linebacker all year

Michael Rogers was the leading tackler and missed the Sugar Bowl. Pretty sure he had a car wreck where someone else died.

Tommy Tuberville was Miami's defensive coordinator

Tubs was on staff, but I think Sonny Lubick was DC.

He assumed that role the following season when Lubick left to coach Colorado State (unless he was an interim coach just for the bowl game).

Bradie James- LSU- LB

He and Trev Faulk were quite the 1-2 punch at LB and one of the few bright spots of that carried over from DiNardo to Saban.
