At this point of the year, who has massively overachieved vs their preseason expectations?

1)Joe Burrow
2)Kyle Trask
3)Clyde Edwards-Helaire
4)Lynn Bowden
5)Bo Nix
6)Najee Harris
7)Jaylen Waddle
8)Kristian Fulton
9)Ja'maar Chase
10)Derek Stingly Jr.

Joe Burrow/Kyle Trask/Lynn Bowden thread.

Kyle Pitts also kind of came out of nowhere.

This is the one category Trask beats Burrow simply due to the absolute lack of any expectation preseason.

Burrow has had an all time great year when he was expected to be above average.

Trask has had a great year when he was expected to finish his career out as a 3rd string QB behind seemingly more talented players

No one who had ever seen Flippy the Lama play a down in college believed that.

I think I agree with this. I'm not even sure the entire UF fanbase knew who Trask was in August. Dude finished 3rd I think in most QB stats in the SEC this year and didn't start the first few games. Ridiculous overachiever award to him.

Guy is breaking AU freshman records and has only thrown six picks on the year. He's made mistakes, but how in the hell is he terrible?

I actually agree with this. Trask wins for the sheer fact he wasn't even supposed to be playing, much less actually be pretty productive.

My pick, overall, would be Trey Smith at Tennessee. Dude almost couldn't play football anymore due to blood clotting in his leg and may make the All-SEC team this season

Trask hasn’t been a starter since line freshmen or sophomore year of HS right @florida fans?

To me that makes him the most impressive overacheiver

I think CEH22 should be #1. A lot of people knew that Joe Burrow was capable of greatness. He just needed time. Clyde is the personification of what it means to be a Tiger or be a football player in general. Undersized, too small, not good enough. frick that. He’s is a fighter.
