I’m intrigued.
What makes you say that?

By the end of the CBS contract, SEC schools will be bringing in close to $70 million per team per year in TV rights. That’s a staggering number. We’re behind the Big 10 right now, since they just got a new TV deal, but not by much, and we’re going to blow by them soon.

If this criteria is applied, CBS should never be considered; their streaming is for shite.

I don’t disagree.
Also, I should’ve included “quality of announcers” in my previous criteria.
Otherwise, I couldn’t care less if the games are aired on Animal Planet.

Maybe, but it means more Pam Ward and Beth Mowins.

I’ll take 3 hour 30 minute games with Blackledge over 3 hour 45 minute games with Danielson all day any day.

Aren't ABC and ESPN both owned by Disney? Wouldn't this just be like sister buying the toy from brother with daddy's money?

They already have the SEC and pay more money than CBS.

I'd rather the SEC move to fricking PBS than to have to continue watching games on CBS

I hope FOX or NBC has the cajones to pony up the dough. ABC/ESPN already control too much of the sport.

Still better streaming, their 4K is top tier, and they could get Steve Irwin’s son to announce. Take my money

CBS sucks for streaming and has a really tough signal to catch over the air. ABC is much better in both those regards.

Fox isn’t too hard to stream, but it’s OTA signal in BR is atrocious and their visual quality is a joke.

Give me ABC all day long.
