IDGAF. Better than looking like an obsessed crybaby bitch. My eyes see that Murray was jogging towards and in front of our ball carrier during a live play and got blasted. There is no disputing that. Those are facts. DWI.

How so? Please, explain to me how Murray was not a defender, and was not in front of the ball carrier ( who was still running), moving towards him. Explain, please.
Murray was a defenseless player. And the play was not over go back and watch it Ha Ha was already on the ground. Weather Dial knew the play was over or not you can debate. But if you watch the play Dial lined up a headshot to a defenseless player

i thought the ole miss suspension and south carolina (i think) werent as bad as this hit. i didnt think they deserved suspensions either though.

so what about the other penalties that may or may not have been called..the tip near the end was not a tip..and your guy was clearing holding our LB on your last touchdown..You got any comments on those two horrible calls that went your way?
Ive got a comment on those two:
The tipped ball was said to be inconclusive on if it was tipped or not. That was said by the replay booth.
As for the hold, it was one holding call that was blown. Your almighty line holds all the time and never gets called for it. Hell while ESPN was blowing barret jones and telling everyone how great he was, they showed a highlight of him an he was holding on the play. You bammers claim that everyone cries about bama not getting penalties but they are plain as day no calls, not petty shite.

If you are calling me dumb because i am disagreeing your asessment of the play, then i couldnt care less, you are probably a pretty lame person anyway.

Based on what exactly?

You need to go back and watch it. Murray is flat on his back and Ha Ha has not yet been tackled. The play was live when Dial hit Murray. This can not be disputed.

I agree. One of them might have been a little bit worse if I remember correctly, I think South Carolina player launched? Anyway, I'm sure Dial will be suspended to appease people even though it's a stupid ruling

I'm calling you dumb because your assessment is clouded with personal biases. Had it been a UGA player on Bama, I'd say the same thing. Cheap shots like that can ruin a kid's career before it even begins.

I see two things.
The initial contact was shoulder to shoulder. The inertia of contact then caused the GA QB's head to snap toward the Bama player's body resulting in head to head contact. However, the initial contact was shoulder to shoulder. From what I saw that is clear and non debatable.
Also the contact occurred after the interception. At that point the GA player ceased to be an offensive player and became a defensive player. To call him anything else would be to deny him the right to tackle the Bama player who intercepted the pass.

Yes, the play was live. But a couple things..
Murray was not close to making the tackle. He was jogging to the sideline, and was popped about the same time as the tackle being made. He had a 0% chance of making that tackle. This alone makes it a cheap shot.
It was also helmet to helmet. Every person with 2 eyes and half a brain can see that.
eta: Go check the in-game thread. Every Bama fan in that thread immediately said the same thing.

I'd be interested to see the number of holding calls against Bama compared to the rest of the conference.
