If not, it will become commonplace and someone will be seriously hurt.
Was pretty common knowledge that Tenn fans were planning to storm the field & dump the goalposts in the Tenn River should they win.
Did Tenn officials do anything to prevent it? If so, it sure wasn't enough. This after pelting the Ole Miss players/coaches w/ golf balls & mustard bottles last season.

There's a big difference between throwing shite and storming the field. I see nothing wrong with students storming the field after a monumental victory. It was a pretty cool scene honestly.

You would need over 100,000 tasers to stop them

I've never read a post on this message board that confirmed I would IRL hate the OP as much as this one.

What do you suggest? There's no way to stop that many people unless you have Claymore mines on the field.

In 2004 in Jacksonville they had cops surround the field when Georgia finally won. Some were on horseback IIRC. They saw what happened in 1997 and handled it accordingly.

Right after controlling illegals storming the southern border, get your priorities in order!

Considering Jacksonville is a neutral site game that hosts an NFL team, it would make sense that storming the field and tearing down the goalposts wouldn’t be allowed.
It is an awesome sight to witness, especially in real life (having seen it in back-to-back weeks at SC). The only thing I disagree with is dumping the goalposts into the river. Get a piece of history there, people!

Easy. If a teams fans storm the field after a win, the team forfeits the win. Fans will self police

What do you suggest? Giving 100,000 fans shock collars?

IMO you should have to take a rapid COVID test before being allowed to storm the field.

A girl suffered serious head injuries when UGA fans stormed the field after beating the Vols in 2000.
