Dang, I was under the impression our DB room would have a huge drop off based on how much we lost back there but Cine and Smith have done really well it seems. Cine gets caught sniffing the backfield on occasion but dude will pop you.

ET might be a good comp for Catalon’s upside.
Smaller, athletic guy who is a ballhawk and can knock your head off.

Idk if he is going to be that good, but I would say it’s possible. He has that potential.

Idk man Joseph played pretty damned well last year for UK (led SEC in picks) and is now a Cowboy.

I remember sterns , he was crucial to the 2019 Texas win for us . A lot of teams did but mother of God those Texas dbs got abused in that game. Oklahoma may have been better actually.

Sterns is the one who missed the tackle on 3 rd and 17 crossing route

I’m not sure he actually even touched him.. but yes, that is the right player. That’s a tall task for any safety all the way across the field, but his angle could have been better.

I have a hard time believing most of these are actually better players than Catalon or Smoke Monday

The interception he made against us was one heck of a play. Saved a touchdown. He’s legit

Leon O'Neal Jr is a straight up baller but the guy that made that list is an Aggie grad.

Leon is a bad arse, but so is Catalon, who is arguably the best safety in the SEC.

The other Ark DBs must be struggling, if Ark keeps giving up deep passes.

Nah…Brooks is the 6th highest rated SEC CB according to PFF.

Arkansas is pretty deep on the back end so there is a lot of rotating.

Remember when sip thought they were going to land Leon O'Neal Jr but he went to A&M and has clowned your program on Twitter ever since?

Our #1 CB and nickel are very good but #2 CB has been up and down. Plus we’ve been selling out to stop the run in every game so far and none of the QBs have been able to beat us so until that happens I’d imagine we’ll have the same game plan. Ole Miss and MSU will be the games we probably will have to switch up the scheme though with how much they pass.

Seems probable.. he does have 2 catches vs New Mexico on his resume.

He is clearly the chosen one.
