i just cant figure Auburn out. I always feel like yall have a good team, and then every now and then a GREAT team. But just not consistent at all.

It's 2012.... When you go 0-8, it creates quite a hole to dig out of.

Also, they've played by far the most difficult schedule of any SEC team since they play in the West and play Georgia every year.

Even this year. Auburn is a good team. Probably a Top 12 team in the country. But they are going to likely finish 4-4 in SEC play. With losses to #1 LSU, #4 Georgia, #5 Alabama, and #11 Florida. If they had played Mizzou's schedule this year, they'd be 6-2... maybe even 7-1 with getting to play the Gators at home.

In retrospect, it might have been better had we lost that game: Two straight years of Bama backing in after not even playing in the SEC CG might have been asking too much even for them

Georgia or A&M would have ended their drought.

Yes Mizzou/A&M helped to severely handicap Tenn and Arky.

Ark is 1-12

Tenn is 2-6

3-18 vs the rookies hurts.

Would've been a great QB matchup between Manziel and Murray. People forget Murray since he didn't win titles or a Heisman but he had a great career too

Why does everyone always assume it will be a bust?

The coach that follows a legend is almost always a bust. Which is why Dabo is not coming when Sban dies or leaves. Need more proof?

Florida still FIrst since 1992 despite Alabama being nails since 2012.

Props, Florida. That is impressive.

Interesting that the 4 expansion teams since 1992 are all clustered together..... all behind the Original Big 6.

Two more. Tom Osborne.

And it doesn’t have to be Dabo. It just has to be a competent head coach with a clear vision. No one expects him to be saban. Because no one will be. But success doesn’t cease to exist because Saban isn’t on the sideline one day.

Considering LSU was awful for much of the '90s (only 3 winning seasons), this is impressive.

I attended in the early 90s, and it was brutal.

Oh, and fk Jamie Howard and all those damn pick 6s in that cataclysmic 4th quarter collapse.
