Since Expansion in 2012:
1. Alabama- .905 (57-6)
2. Georgia- .746 (47-16)
3. LSU- .677 (42-20)
4. Florida- .641 (41-23)
5. Texas A&M- .548 (34-28)
6. Auburn- .508 (32-31)
7. S. Carolina- .484 (31-33)
8. Miss. St.- .476 (30-33)
9. Missouri- .468 (29-33)
10. Ole Miss- .397 (25-38)
11. Tennessee- .323 (20-42)
12. Kentucky- .313 (20-44)
13. Vanderbilt- .302 (19-44)
14. Arkansas- .210 (13-49)
Since Expansion in 1992:
1. Florida- .737 (165-59-0)
2. Alabama- .720 (160-62-1)
3. Georgia- .657 (146-76-1)
4. LSU- .619 (137-84-1)
5. Auburn- .587 (130-91-2)
6. Tennessee- .570 (126-95-1)
7. Texas A&M- .548 (34-28-0)
8. Missouri- .468 (29-33-0)
9. S. Carolina- .435 (97-126-1)
10. Arkansas- .410 (90-130-2)
11. Miss St.- .392 (87-135-1)
12. Ole Miss- .381 (85-138-0)
13. Kentucky- .290 (65-159-0)
14. Vanderbilt- .197 (44-179-0)
Interesting that the 4 expansion teams since 1992 are all clustered together..... all behind the Original Big 6... but all ahead of the Historical Bottom Feeders of the SEC.
For all those young fans who don't understand how Tennesseee is still revered as "Big 6", this is the reason why.... despite a decade + of being horrible, they are still 31 games above .500 in SEC play since 1992. And if you go back to 1933 when the SEC originated, they rank even better.
How long before Alabama passes Florida since 1992? We're probably a couple years away I would guess.

Considering LSU was awful for much of the '90s (only 3 winning seasons), this is impressive.
Like my undergrad GPA, they dug their way out of an early hole.

Bammer sent Curley Hallman (Tuscaloosa native) to LSU as a Trojan horse to keep us down, then lost to him in 1993 to help him keep his job. Convince me otherwise

It really is impressive and can't be overstated. And it's mainly due to this streak -
LSU has won at least 8 games for 20 straight seasons. The 20-year streak is the longest among Power 5 teams

Forgot how much of a juggernaut the Gators were in the 90s.

What I've gathered from this post is that for all the shite the expansion teams get for not being great, they're still better than a number of original SEC members.

It would be fun to see conference standings for '92 thru '99 (same period we find ourselves in now re: expansion).
