it's incredibly gay. a bunch of nerds wearing matching T shirts does not compare to 100 thousand drunk coonasses making the shite shake or getting hit with dixieland delight by bama (RIP that song i heard?)

Auburn has been trying a whiteout against G5 schools the past couple of years. It’s looks like shite tbh. It’s just not our thing, it needs to be dropped. I heard it was for helping with the heat during the first few weeks of the season, but I don’t know if I buy that.

Schools that did it first should do it.

I don’t want my favorite team doing.

Just pack the stadium and be loud. That’s what it used to be like.

LSU tried to do a gold game every year and it never works out. It’s so cringe

I've seen a lot of crowds at SEC games in recent years that do certain things such as the "checkboard" in Neyland Stadium or the "blackout" at Sanford Stadium. Do you enjoy when your school does this or do you think it's tacky?

Tacky, serves no purpose. Bama doesn't do such things and I am glad. I'd know the end was near if Bama did a white out and after the game rushed the field.

Here’s a better picture of Sanford in the blackout:

Yeah I kind of chose the wrong picture for UGA. Chose the red crowd picture. Yours is much better.

I think the issue with that picture is everybody had the red shakers, which made it hard to see the black from that angle.

This is the best picture from the original blackout btw:

We did a stripe-out vs Texas last year. It worked pretty well.

I think if this sort of thing isn't a normal tradition, the best way to get it to happen would be to leave shirts in the seats for people who forgot to wear.

Your fans also have no teeth, so there is that.

Coming from the school that played "Saturday Nights alright for fighting" in their pregame routine I'll take that as a compliment.

I like it but our fans are way too cool to do that shite. They really aren't but they think they are. We try and wear orange for Kentucky and blue for Tennessee, but we kind of half arse it.

SC always gets their arse whipped when we do a "blackout".

The first one I remember us doing one was against Florida when Spurrier was there, and after beating our arse he said that the ball was a lot easier to see for his players against our solid black background. I wondered why it wasn't the same for us as well.
