Why do folks around this place act like children when they’re upset?
That goes for all fan bases on this site.

Saban is coasting on past successes at this point. His decisions on the program are proving to be very bad right now.

A Major Bowl Game
LMAO! Tell the board how much you don’t belong without right out saying it. You are living in the past! In today’s college football if you aren’t in the playoffs there is NO bowl more meaningful than the next. The only “bowls “ that players aren’t opting out of are the playoffs. Congrats on your “major” bow win. LMAO! A fricking cotton bowl ! COTTON BOWL!!! Hahaha

Ole Miss is responsible for two of those coaches.

Interesting that "offensive genius" Malzahn would not have made this list after 8 years at Auburn.

It’s a NY6 bowl. Are you not up to speed on the bowls? It sounds like you’re not.

Try selling that to the sponsors and networks

Brian Kelly’s lack of ability to win the big game should be a concern for a “great” coach.

Yeah, I'm not going to mock like somebody else did, but there's no more "major bowls", that part of CFB is gone now.
You either make the playoffs, or it's a glorified exhibition that your elite players bow out of.
I feel a bit bad for Mizzou, because they did have a legit good team this year, and this should have been a reward and a milestone. But they faced an Ohio State team that had packed it in; starting QB and Biletnikoff winning WR already out the door etc. You played hard against a team that didn't care. UGA's depth and backups played hard against a team that didn't care either, and Kirby was vocal about that.

True enough for 2024, but it’s nonsense to think that for 2023 the revenue generated, the viewership and just general attention was level across all but the 2 (so far) playoff bowls. Demonstrably false actually.

Going forward the only bowls that matter are playoffs. Six bowl games a year that mean anything.
