LSU has had a ton of great coaches for this list:
Biff Jones never had a losing season. Neither did Russ Coehn, Pat Dwyer or ET McDonald.

"I'm going to turn Florida in right here in front of you," Kiffin told the crowd. "As Nu'Keese (Richardson) was here on campus, his phone keeps ringing. And so one of our coaches is sitting in the meeting with him and says, 'Who is that?' And he looks at the phone and says, 'Urban Meyer.' Just so you know, you can't call a recruit on another campus. But I love the fact that Urban had to cheat and still didn't get him."

Why isn’t Pete Golding on this list?
That dude is 2 and 1 in the playoffs… I sure do wish Mike Elko was 2 and 1 in the playoffs.

You seem triggered by not having a single national championship since 1998

Thank you Vid… reading comprehension has not always been my strong suit!
Good luck to your Tigers next year… with Lane Kiffin at the helm, y’all have much to be excited about!

You missed Pete Golding.
In 2025 he coached a full season to 13-2, Final Four
No losing seasons.

Kiffin is more in the Saban mold. No losing seasons in college, only in the NFL.
Not all college coaches are thought of highly enough to land an NFL job, though.
