If he goes top 3 rounds I will be surprised. He doesn't have the arm strength or size the NFL wants. Doesn't mean he is incapable of being a pro it's just a tough row to hoe.

Lane Kiffin gets too much credit for development

In 2014, Kiffin had no idea what to do with Derrick Henry, and thought the entire offense revolved around Sims to Amari Cooper, and out of the playoffs we went. Again in 2015, Derrick Henry doesn't sniff the Heisman until a series of running-back injuries, and he's forced to work Henry like a rented mule. Even then, Kiffin actually pulled Jake Coker before we played Ole Miss in 2015. Kiffin had decided that Cooper Bateman was the second coming of Blake Sims and wanted Coker on the sidelines. Coker had already started that season and had beaten a good Wisconsin team and was undefeated as a starter. It was chaos, and turnover city, and BAMA got beat at home. In comes Coker again, and he and Henry take BAMA to the NC. Jake Coker goes down in BAMA football lore as only 2 QBs to never lose a game at BAMA as a starter. And Henry accidentally gets a chance to show just how special he always was.

That's Lane Kiffin, the great talent evaluator I recall.

That didn't answer my question.

Do you not see how absurd "I think everyone in a certain profession lacks character" sounds?

That's fine.

I don't think used car salesmen have great character either, in general.

Lane got incredibly lucky Austin Simmons got hurt. Simmons isn’t very good.

Don't think we know this yet. He's started 3 games. The talent is through the roof.

This isn't a dig at Lane, but Lane wasn't the one that found him. That was CWJ and Judge.

Well they did a good job and that's what assistant coaches are hired to do. Evaluate players. I am sure Lane had the last say on the decision.
