Greg Sankey just announced live that the SEC Championship will remain in Atlanta for the next 8 years (including this year).

Edit: Also answered a question about possibly moving the game because of Oklahoma and Texas. He basically said there are no plans to move the game and Oklahoma and Texas leadership agree it should stay in Atlanta.

Good. It would be a pretty savage move for him to move the game 2 days before

Maybe the natives will burn down Mercedes Benz at the next opportunity for a cultural gathering of peace and protest and we'll get a venue change

That's good. That gives the new Nissan Stadium in Nashville 5 years to work the kinks out before it moves there.

Yup.

Basketball tourney in Nashville.
Seccg in Atlanta
Arlington gets the equestrian events.

You rotate the events as such and leave them there

Game needs to be cancelled next year. No need for it with the 12 team playoff.
