Auburn lost a generational coach in Pearl
I don't know that Oates will ever win the whole thing
We all know Barnes will flame out of tourney despite the talent
Vandy seems to be doing well
LSU is better but who knows if good enough to make tourney
Florida has a backcourt problem
A&M lost a proven coach
UK spent $22 million on a terribly constructed roster
Ole Miss has a ways to go
MSU seems to have dropped considerably

Hogs appear to be trending up quickly. After Queens tonight, we will get a good test with UH before opening conference play with UT.

NC State makes a lot more sense than Duke. NC State is far larger and a Land Grant Public school that fits culturally with the SEC. UNC and NC State are also part of the same University System and are tied together in many ways.

Conference is already too big, no more expansion
Scream at the clouds if you want but the SEC will be 20 teams soon, can't stop it. ESPN owns the SEC and Sankey is their puppet. It's going to be the B1G and the SEC as the 2 Supers, it's just when and who gets in and the details to negotiate. There is just too much money involved now and you can't reverse that the only direction is forward. I know that sucks in many ways but it's reality.

While this may be a factor, the much larger factor for AU is that we lost the entirety of the best roster that's ever been at Auburn (save Pettiford)... particularly in the front court.

Moser/OU is in a prove it year. I won’t be sold until he does something in conf play. The 3 losses are to really good teams and he’s won a few good games as well. But last year he was undefeated in OOC and it fell apart in conf. We’ll see. Stats show better but again, need to see it in conf before I’m a believer.
