Always need to be up to date on niche sports RPIs, as the illustrious poster I am quoting knows. It's a key to being a #truefan.

Tiger rant says it's how Maneri handles midweek games, but I don't get it.

PM will purposely put people in odd/tough situations that they aren't used to or leave a struggling pitcher in way too long just to see how they will handle it and figure out who we can count on in crunch time when it matters.

Auburn's average ACT is 26, so the gap isn't too big to claim being Stanford of the South.

Yeah that is a big gap. The 25th percentile ACT score is 27, and the 75th percentile ACT score is 31. In other words, a 27 places you below average, while a 31 will move you up to above average.

Ummmm, I know you forgot the sarcasterisk

The 25th percentile ACT score is 31, and the 75th percentile ACT score is 35.

In other words, a 31 places you below average, while a 35 will move you up to above average. There's no absolute ACT requirement at Stanford, but they really want to see at least a 31 to have a chance at being considered.

Is 36 no longer a perfect score? There’s no way 1 in 4 kids is getting a 36 these days

ETA: Oh, this would be for Stanford admissions I guess, right? 35 would have to be 99th percentile of total takers

yeah Auburn isn't even in the top 1/2 of the conference in overall academics rankings. If they're Stanford, then we got the entire Ivy League represented as well.

He's saying that puts you in the 75th percentile at Stanford.

Nationwide the 75th percentile is like a 24.

Yeah, I just gathered that. A 31 would probably get you a scholarship at more than half of the SEC haha. I know it almost certainly would at Ole Miss
