Sankey is about to lose a shite ton of money.
No, Sankey is about to lose his job. He's about to lose the SEC a lot of money for railroading 2 football players.
If he was successful in kicking LSU out of the SEC, he'd lose a whole lot more of the SEC's money.

It's a power move and nothing else. They will push Kiffin out at some point but it's just to keep order and control and not end up like the ncaa with no power anymore.

Kiffin isn’t going anywhere.

It's a power move to put LSU and Kiffin back in their place.
It's also dumb they have to ask the government to allow them to kick a team out of their conference if it comes to it.
Correct. They're not kicking LSU out of the conference. This is a power move and an attempt to show LSU they hold the bigger stick. It's a threat to reel them in.

Outside of Finebaum, Sankey, the SEC and the NCAA have been getting takeover the coals by the national media.

This is about tomorrow, not today. By doing this, they are trying to cement the conferences authority in federal court to try and freeze attempts to bypass them using friendly court venues in states. No way they would consider actually kicking LSU out over this.

Yup, with a caveat. It isn’t necessarily a move towards LSU.
The way I see it - this is what results when the conference’s authority to enforce rules is seriously questioned by a state court.

Some people are failing to see the big picture with what kiffin/LSU tried to do. If a single team can just run to a local judge to get around the rules all 16 schools agreed to play under, the conference cant function.

No, you are being warned not to fill them.
If you don't fill them, nothing happens. If you fill them with pro players, adios.
Sankey and the SEC are threatening to kick LSU out before our next game. Do you think we were planning to roster them before then?
There is a huge reason Sark made it clear that Huston being ruled ineligible has nothing to do with the TRO he has against the NCAA.

You mean like getting a restraining order to prevent the NCAA and SEac from punishing you for playing an ineligible player?

LSU would still get to play their schedule this season correct? I know Texas, Bama, and ole miss is begging for a reason to be able to not publicly embarrass themselves like Clemson did
