I was trying to find a gif of him knocking the drink out of his hand and making him do pushups by the pool but no luck!

Their team might not be able to join the Thunderdome, but we can always honor their culture

Football wise I'm really not sure it's that much better than the AAC is now. I guess you basically replace the worst AAC teams with teams more like the top AAC teams - so it's a league of 14 teams that are all reasonably similar.

It would be a damn good basketball league, though.

SEC adds Oklahoma/Texas

Will be interesting to see if Texas “bends the knee.” The big hangup with them in the past was The Longhorn Network and revenue sharing. OU’s hangup was they allegedly had a pact with OSU that they would not leave the conference without them.

Sooooo, if Texass joins the SEC then who has the largest middle appendage in the League… UTw or Bama?

They dissolve, P12 and B10 pick up teams, ACC still remains weakass

Agreed, even before this scenario the four most geographically likely were Pac-12, Big Ten, SEC, and ACC.

I think you’re spot on. Losing Alabama and auburn to the east would be sad.

Their SEC pledge ship

Line them up and make them play:

-LSU
-Alabama
-Auburn
-Georgia
-Florida
-A&M

In a 6 week gauntlet with no byes, all on the road. We could make a Rant tailgate bus that follows the action.

I pray to God we go to a pod system. The best case scenario for a 16 team conference is a 9 game conference schedule with 3 annual opponents and 6 rotating biannually. I'm not trying to wait 16-17 years to trade a home-and-home with someone in my own conference.

Leads college football into a new era just like they did in the early 1990s.

SEC Rant implodes.

I don't think there is anyway that they add 2 teams and keep the same schedule/divisional format.

Could be wrong, but this feels like the type of large scale change that they can use to almost bring in a new system.

SEC Southwest
Texas
Texas A&M
Arkansas
Oklahoma

SEC West
Alabama
LSU
Mississippi St.
Ole Miss

SEC Midwest
Kentucky
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
Missouri

SEC East
Georgia
Florida
South Carolina
Auburn

7 game conference schedule
Play your division, permanent cross division opponent, and 1 rotational team from each other division.

Example:

UGA would play

South Carolina
Florida
Auburn
Tennessee (permanent cross division)
Texas (rotation)
Alabama (rotation)
Kentucky (rotation)

4 division winners playoff to get final two for SECCG
