To an auburn fan. No.

To an LSU fan. Hell yes.

No reason for them to play. They all would be in the NFL already if they could be. In Smith's case with the medical issues he has had, no way he plays.

You’re being downvoted, but it’s not hard to believe. Trevor Lawrence catches it, he’s missing two games in an already busted season.

Decatur HS athletics just pushed there’s back AGAIN until Sept 25. Getting into October next before a possible start.

B10 commish now also supposedly leaning canceling the Big Ten season, that would be the death blow to CFB

I have not seen this, and the B1G revised schedule came out today. I still have questions on if it makes any sense, but would be curious where you saw that?

Anyone getting excited for football is setting themselves up to be severely disappointed.

Yeah I’ve seen a lot of stuff about the Big Ten Commish basically telling people not to get their hopes up, the season could still be cancelled, but nothing that he was leaning towards cancelling.

Plus the schedule dropping today doesn’t scream leaning to cancel

I said it before, this will be a great opportunity for the non-Power 5 schools to get the attention of the nation.

Story published today says the Big Ten has a flexible schedule designed to let the league move games around as needed. They are preparing for worst case scenarios, but they aren't saying the season is unraveling.

Just to follow up on the B1G commish:

quote:

“I have a son who’s a football student-athlete in the SEC, at Mississippi State, and so I’ve asked myself as a father: Would I be comfortable for him to participate in the Big Ten based upon the testing policies, protocols and procedures we have in place? And as of today, the answer is yes,” Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren said Wednesday in an interview with BTN.

He is closer to this situation in multiple ways than any of us are; his own son is going to be going through this in one P5 conference and he's running one of the other P5s

I know Stingley is a sophomore. He is still a sure fire top 10 pick. No reason to put himself at risk this year. Sit out this year, come back next year and be a top 10 pick in the 2022 draft.
