4) Georgia - Football ('42, '46, '80) and Baseball ('90)

5) LSU - Football ('08, '35, '36,'58, '62, '03, '07), Basketball ('35), and Baseball ('91, '93, '96, '97, '00, '09)

6) Vanderbilt - Football ('21 and '22) and Baseball ('14)

Much, much respect to Florida, and LSU, for accomplishing this feat in the modern era (since '91 SEC expansion). Championships prior to that time are worthless.

Respect is certainly given to Bama's football program, Arkansas's basketball program, and Vanderbilt's baseball program on that list. Respect to Auburn's football program and USCe's baseball program, as well.

Maybe State will win one soon. With a 96 Final Four, a 2014 NY6 appearance, and two recent runs in the CWS, we've come close.

I have always claimed 1984. The trophy is in the case.
Florida Gators football national champs. 84,96,06,08.

Probably would have won another in 1985 had the Gators not been on probation. Bama would count this one.

Did you win the AP or Coaches poll? If not, no, we most certainly would not.

That Florida team tied a 2-8 Rutgers team and lost by 3 TDs to a 7-3 Georgia team. Oklahoma went 11-1 and beat 11-0 Penn State in the Orange Bowl. So probation or not, that Florida team wasn't winning the national title.

Since when does college baseball produce revenue?

While I agree that we don't, nor should we count three titles, it is as legitimate as this:

LSU - Football ('08, '35, '36,'58, '62, '03, '07)

Correct. last I heard only football actually makes money. As a whole basketball breaks even and all other sports pretty much lose money. This could have changed, since it has been awhile since I've checked on it.

Nice catch!

Make a list of the fans who come up with idiotic list just so their teams can be among them.

Well all sports bring in revenue. Only 4 baseball programs in the SEC make a profit though and I think it's only about 10 in the country. Whereas every SEC school makes a profit in both football and men's basketball.

Well that's not true. Basketball turns a profit even at Alabama.

If it turns a profit its a miner one. Football carries the whole sports programs. The tv contracts makes millions all by itself. And you know it.

No surprise that a Bama fan thinks basketball isn't a major sport.

In a span of 364 days, we won 2 basketball titles and a football title. Who knows when, if ever, another student body will ever get to experience a year like that.
