Mike White knows how to recruit individual talent, but he really struggles to put a complete team together.

Good game Kentucky. Glad to pull this one out. See you at the end of the season.

Is there any hope for Kentucky to get Quaintance back and contributing this year?

If he can even get back to a fraction of his former self, he could be a difference come tournament time.

JQ would have helped, but highly doubt he comes back. Florida starts fast every game, but only Kentucky has fought back to make it a game. Kentucky fans are blaming the refs, which is unbelievable.

Probably not. They tried to get him workouts the other day and his knee swelled again without much effort.

Doesn't seems so. I had knee replacement 8 weeks ago and my swelling is better than his apparently.

It's frustrating to watch all of that talent go to waste. I knew White would not be a home run hire, but I thought he would at the very least be a ground rule double. It's now looking like he's a foul tip into the catcher's mask.

OU offense was on fire today and took down Georgia 94-78. Thats a 2 game winning streak for lame duck HC Moser

We are ìn a good spot to win the SEC regular season if we beat Arkansas at home. Will be tough for others to pass us looking at remaining schedules.

At UF Magic Mike White would constantly let teams back in games that we should have finished off. He never had that killer instinct.

Been trying to tell UGA fans for years Mike White is worse than just being a bad team every year.

Starting off impressive and giving fans optimism.. and then tanking every single year. It's absolutely maddening to see the same thing happen literally every single year.

Rather just be bad all year every year than have hope and see it crash and burn the same way every year.

Florida should win out or lose once more. Florida beats Kentucky at home for the first time since 2018. Crazy. Kentucky won six straight in Gainesville (did not play in Gainesville last year). Florida won twice in that span, but both wins came in Lexington. Florida might start a streak of their own.

Sooners beat Georgia big a week after the squeaker win over Vanderbilt.

Those games qualify as bad losses for Georgia and Vanderbilt and no doubt hurt their tournament seeding.

Sorry about that.

Honestly surprised Kentucky covered the spread. That's a pretty solid effort by the Cats.

Florida is that good. I think they're Final Four good.

Good game Cats. UK never quits. Every time we got a big lead, you guys kept battling back. Credit to Pope and your team for that. And Chandler shoots lights out. He is so good.

The use of Chandler baffles me.

I honestly thought he was the second best returning piece ... obviously behind Oweh ... from last year.

Mark Pope is on the hot seat for me. Not that Barnhart cares. But you should not give a guy at this position half a year to have a pretty much public emotional meltdown before you get your shite together and start coaching what you have.

To me ? Next year is Make or Break for Mark Pope. Which is really Make or Break for Mitch Barnhart.

I said 8, but I'm 10 weeks out. I did a thread on the OT at 6 weeks, so you can read my trials and tribulations there.
OT thread
The short version was weeks 1-2 weren't bad with pain meds 24/7. PT hurts, but you have to do it. Weeks 3-5 were sleep deprived. Pretty awful. Not taking the pain meds 24/7 plus the nerves trying to heal kept me uncomfortable. Could not find a position to sleep for any length of time. Started taking pain pill at night and it helped.

Week5 I also overexercised and popped some internal stitches. That set my recovery back 2 full weeks. Do what PT says, and if you try a bit more, be very careful.

Weeks 8-10, sleep is pretty normal. Stopped nightly pain meds at week 7 and its been fine. Finally caught up on exercises, so I'm mostly moving forward at this point. It still hurts, and is tight, but I have an exercise bike so I ride it several times a day for 10 minutes. I think the worst is over.

PT is your friend, so is an ice machine and elevation of your leg whenever possible.

If I can help, let me know.
