Well me too especially since I’ll be there as long as we’re playing.

Georgia will be #3, Auburn #5 if I had to guess (UCLA 1, Tech 2, UNC 4). Both teams have earned every opportunity to make it to Omaha.

That would be my guess as well.

I dunno. UGA’s metrics are all over the place still. 15 RPI, 4 DSR, 7 KPI.
Do they play like a team that deserves the 3 seed? Absolutely. If you asked me if they’re one of the top four teams in the country I’d automatically say hell yes.
Do the metrics support that? Unfortunately no.
I’m kind of curious what the committee will do. I think they should be the three seed but I have no way of knowing how the committee will parse it out.

Yeah I’m concerned he has a fracture.

It was such an unfortunate play. Our guy was standing in the base runner's path without a clue and never saw it coming, and your guy wasn't looking. unnecessary injury.
ETA: leaving that statement so my ignorance can be reviewed by scientists, but there are no necessary injuries lol.

I am still a bit baffled how Alabama finished 18-12. The eye test and stats say they should be fighting for .500.
But Fay, Adams, and Upchurch are a very solid weekend starting lineup.
Vaughn has been a great hire. It doesn’t seem like he is betting against Alabama and managing pitching changes so they lose.

They're also 41–13 and have been playing like a fringe top 25 team all year. Auburn can't exactly afford to throw the kitchen sink at a midweek game with an SEC opponent coming up, but Jacksonville State is both good enough to take that game and greatly benefits by doing so. They're so much stronger than the bulk of their conference that they can still take 2/3 on the weekend.

Yes, I know. They're really good and have an outstanding coach.
