Cats are trying to hold on to a 3-0 lead top the 9th vs UCSB. Tying run at the plate for the Groucho's.

Damn. 3-2 Cats lead. Gouchos cutting into the lead. Tying run at 2nd base with 2 outs. Come on Cats, finish them for the series win.

Cats win. Cats win

Take the series. I can see the Cats doing well this year...got to tighten up on the pitching.

Rebels are struggling this weekend. Saw this coming to be honest, we are an inexperienced team that is going to need a bit of time to gel and mature over the season. Hoping that our pitching staff can hold up throughout SEC play.

Auburn scored 4 runs in the 8th to win 5-4. They are 9-2 to start the year.

Auburn rallied against Lipscomb and won 5-4. Casey Mize gave up 1 ER in 6 IP with 9 Ks. Bullpen tried to blow it, but Lipscomb couldn't field in the 8th.

It's a long season. Plenty of time to improve. Baseball seasons have different process than most sports.

This team doesn't look like we'll make it through the regionals right now. If we lose three years in a row to Clemson, Holbrook's seat should be red hot.

Why? We made the Supers last year. So if we lose tomorrow but make the CWS Holbrook should be on the hot seat?

Absolutely not. However if we don't beat Clemson and don't make it out of the regionals at the very least... that's a different story.

We went from a CWS final, to losing at home to Maryland in the regionals, to not making the tourney at all, to being swept at home by Okie State in the Supers.

If we lose tomorrow, we'll have lost the Clemson series 3 years running. This is the same Clemson team that lost 2 of 3 at home to Wright State. Baseball is supposed to be the one program where we don't tolerate losing, especially to our rival.
