I have said it before but a few years ago when Arkansas motor boated a good Texas team while Sark stood there looking like he had just put his dog to sleep... I wasn't sold.
You are going to have games where it just doesn't happen. But Sark seems to collapse in the face of adversity. Not saying he doesn't assemble good talent, or even that he is a lousy game day coach. I do, however, wonder if his mental state is up to big time, winner takes it all, college games when things go wrong.

In terms of talent compared to us?

I mean that Arkansas team won 9 games in the SEC. I’m sure Texas had more stars but we lost to Kansas at home that year. We sucked, bigly.

Ouch…biggest difference is Scott Woodward is a effin idiot.
Woodward didn't make you give him a retarded extension in 2021.

And that's because he has bitten off more than he can chew.
I mean the list of head coaches who have won the Super Bowl or college football playoff as a playcaller
2013 Jimbo Fisher
Mike Martz came close in 2001 but trying to do this is a fools errand and really quite stupid IMHO

You can't ignore the past 2 years:
Consecutive Final Four playoff spots and an SECCG appearance in his first year in the SEC.

Outside of a really unusual win against a good bama name another really good team he beat in those 2 years, especially when it mattered.
I'll wait patiently.

Lol…nobody from LSU has any standing to talk about the stupid contracts that Scott Woodward negotiated. However, Scott Woodward set up grounds for the Fisher extension, then bailed out to screw LSU the same way. But yes, you’re right though..our idiot board of regents should have to cough up the money Fisher’s agent extorted personally.

Probably cannot find a better coach at this point. With a really good OL - Sark is fine at playcalling.
But it was unrealistic to expect Texas to have a really good OL this year. Considering an OL needs time to gel together. You can’t just pencil that in.
That pre-season assumption was moronic. The expectations this year were an unrealistic, pre-season media hype train.
And y'all shouted down anyone who said so at the time.

You've got him until 2031. If you ask nice we could float you a loan to pay his $51 million in guaranteed money you owe him.

I don't think this will happen, but if the wheels totally fall off, and Sark finished the year at 7-5 or 6-6, any chance Texas fires him?

Jimbo’s record was all in the SEC. Sark’s record includes 3 years in the Big12. Advantage:Jimbo.

Yeah. Kirby or Lanning ain’t walking through that door. Cignetti might be good but there’s no way to know how he will handle a pressure cooker. We could easily hire worse than Sark.

Besides beating Bama in 23 he beat 3 other final top 25 teams to win the Big 12 making the playoff.
In 24 he beat 6 top 25 at the time ranked teams, defending champion Michigan on the road and won 2 playoff games.

The impulse response is no. But 2 things:
1) I still can't read CDC like I could DeLoss Dodds.
2) It also depends on what walks through that door.

Lmao those are your examples? Michigan?
None of those teams were very good. You just proved my point. Thank you.

I was right before the season (offense would still suck and fans would blame arch instead of sark) and I'll be right about this as well. It's just going to take some of you longer to see it.
Where you're going wrong is while the blame is on the offense, there is a very specific group that the loss fall on for Saturday, the offensive line. If you want to say because Sark is an offensive minded head coach that's his responsibility, that's fair. Though that doesn't seem to be what you're saying. I think you're forgetting the 3 walk in touchdowns that Sark called that weren't executed due to an over throw by a WR and poor blocking.
Let us not forget running backs ran the ball 11 times for 15 yards on Saturday. Meaning Arch is responsible for 300 of Texas' 340 offensive yards. I say he did pretty good considering he was pressured on 59.5% of his drop backs. To me it seems like the issue is a young an inexperienced offensive line. But if you look at last year, Texas had a very experienced offensive line and couldn't run block to save their life. At some point Flood needs to be held accountable. It's Sarks job to do that, but the offense on Saturday wasn't on Sark.
The funny thing is if Texas had won yesterday you wouldn't be on here complaining, but since Texas lost the sky is falling and the most successful coach Texas has had since 2010 should be fired.

Name any coach that outperformed Stark over the past 2 complete seasons besides OSUs coach?

Sarkisian might still turn around, perhaps not this season but on the bright side, Texas didn't hire Belichick.
