The NCAA BB tournament is one of the best run tournaments around, it doesn't need to be fricked with imo.

Expanding the field? To be honest, it’s probably too big currently. Why add more teams to a tournament that have virtually no chance to win the national title?

I agree, the bubble is about where it needs to be. If anything go back to 64 and get rid of the play in games.

The regular season would be meaningless and you would have teams start resting players at the end
I do think they need to end the tourney champ getting the auto bid (and in baseball too), especially when bid stealers keep deserving teams out
If you want separate tourneys - one for power 5 and another for mid majors than that's what it would become
Maybe Sankey needs to take that NCAA gig

We truly need another few games to draw out an otherwise meaningless tourney and risk more tired legs/injuries for the tourney that matters.

They don’t need to expand.. obviously..
I do think the Play in games or first round.. whatever. Should all be the last 8 at large teams in for those spots.. I don’t like 2 Conf Champs having to play..

I don’t necessarily agree with this but if they did it, then it should be focused on just the Play-In side of thing. Have two play-in games for each bracket. The winners of those games face the top two seeds. Make it an 80 team field.
