This doesn't make LSU look bad. This makes Sankey look completely incompetent and out of touch.

Nobody can get it through their heads that it's the other schools passed off at LSU. Greg Sankey isn't Mussolini. He's doing what 15 other schools are telling him to do. They're not going to be run over roughshod by Lane Kiffin & a bunch of corrupt LA politicians.
So every other judge who has granted TROs is perfectly legit, such as the double Ole Miss grad who granted Chambliss’ TRO, but when a Louisiana judge with no LSU connection does the same thing, he’s corrupt? Please explain the logic.

this will not end well for Sankey. he just doesn't know it yet. it would probably be best for him to find another country to live in.

It’s sankeys job to talk them down.
Not rile them up.
Sankey as let the big ten rush us into a sloppy thrown together rule.
Back us into a 9 game schedule while simultaneously making the conference even harder to get through while getting worse TV deals.
The big ten has watered down the competition for its top schools while gaining money in TV deals.
The problem is Sankey.
Not LSU

I believe the play is to prove they are a separate governing body from the NCAA which actually is not subject to NCAA ruling, in fact superseding it setting the path to SEC breaking away over the coming decade.
But everyone, continue your rage.

I get it we all hate each other from a competitive standpoint, but this is absurd.
Any university supporting this should be ashamed of themselves.

He’s also done whatever the B10 wanted since he started.
All it takes is every conference member voting to kick his arse out. Why has this not happened already?

Proof, please
It's been in the news that the other schools met privately without LSU to discuss it informally.
Sankey is only doing what the schools ask them to. If he is doing it all rogue behind the schools back, you'd know it because the discussion of the meeting would be to fire Sankey instead.
For example:
Other SEC schools met without LSU
quote:
The presidents and chancellors of the SEC’s other 15 schools met informally Friday without LSU President Wade Rousse.
No official action or penalty was taken, but the SEC says the group reached a consensus that LSU’s continued membership could be inconsistent with the conference’s principles.
The filing accuses LSU of a “demonstrated lack of institutional control,” including what it describes as a “complete lack of control” over Lane Kiffin.
The SEC says Thursday’s meeting will occur “whether LSU renounces its intention to roster and play professional players on its football team, or not.”

pretending is fun!
The Ban: The SEC voted 16-0 to ban any player who signed an NFL, NBA, WNBA, or affiliated pro contract (or made a pro roster) from playing in the conference.
given that wouldn't a more likely out come be 15-1 against lsu?

I think so too which is why they're not going to let one school go rogue & defy them a week after they made the rule.

Defend what? LSU fans bringing up our quarterback for the zillionth time? You must have me confused

I thought that meeting was held but to review if Kiffin had the players on the roster. Because the Georgia DA or whatever was going to cry foul and say LSU was cheating.
Since LSU did not add the players to the roster this meeting should have been not necessary. The reason this is Sankey is because or the halftime comment and Sankey did not like it.
So frick the other presidents and the commissioner because you all look scared with this.

How much of a fricking idiot will he look like when there is a unanimous vote to let LSU remain in the conference, and Liz Murril goes to court and makes a complete fool out of him.
It boggles my mind how some of you still can’t grasp the concept that Sankey works for the conference presidents and chancellors and this lawsuit amendment would have never been put forth unless they told him to and they already know how the vote will go.
