He is right though. That was a call out to the alumni at Arky to go out and buy some players. Jerry Jones and Co need to help that school. There are TOO MANY wealthy alumi that they should be this weak on talent.

Love the Titboss, but Arkie needs a new head coach.

Surprised he’s made it this long as a HC. He’s definitely canned after this season, right?

Yea he's gone. He can't coach and he now has a bad hip. It's my understanding, his wife has told him "enough". That's kind of a blessing for Hog fans.

They also need to fire their defensive coordinator.

I think if the season tanks..he steps down and Arky promotes Petrino who will promptly fire the DC as his first move..lol.

I think sometimes a stop gap hire is a good plan...Petrino can win some games, rally the big money guys and get the program going in the right direction.

Sam needs to go, but don't place him alongside Chad Morris please.

He did A LOT to pull us up out of the mire of that douchebag Morris

Bielema's last year and then the two years with Morris absolutely killed us

How does Arkansas not have a huge NIL cooperative? With Walmart, Tyson and Jerry Jones' support, you should be able to compete with any team.

Walmart doesn’t really support Arkansas athletics

You would think they would. I think they've (donors) kind of backed off a bit due to Yurachek and Long's stupidity.

...and I know everyone likes to preach about their basketball, women's volleyball, track and field ... But these guys cannot judge a football coach. ...at all.

Well, if there is anything positive to come out of the game yesterday its that some of y'all are happy again. If Arkansas had won you'd be throwing yourselves off roofs.

Throwing an absolute hissy fit over "our team is blue collar" is baffling. Coaches have been using a variant of that since the 20s. The 1920s.

Jesus people. I want Pittman to retire as much as anyone else but this whole clutching your pearls and having a fainting spell because he said something that thousands of coaches have said in the past is ludicrous.

Have the balls to say, "I don't think Pittman can keep the team focused and he needs to be let go." Viola. Same message. Delivered in a style that doesn't make you look like a chihuahua having a conniption fit.

Here let me show you how it it is done. "I'm glad Pittman pulled us out of the Chad mess but I don't think he can take us to the next level or keep our team focused. He needs to step down and we need to get someone else for the job."

That seems odd. I would have thought the Walton kids would be big boosters considering all of the employees up there being hog faithful. I would also think with Sam Walton requiring a lot of the big corporate entities that sell through Walmart to put HQs in NW Ark that Arkansas could hit them up for corporate sponsorships.

That press conference after the game was pretty brutal. Its time to move on for the Hogs.

The kids went to Mizzou ??
They support “the arts” and mountain biking. And I guess they do a bit for academics. But no football.
John Tyson is a basketball guy, he’s the one who got Cal here. I think Stephens is a basketball lean, as well.

Supposedly, The Walton heirs are more interested in the academic side of the school. I think they have little interest in what the sports teams are doing.
