The closest Kiffin ever came was #9.
Vaught also had a higher win% than Kiffin, and he did it during a time when you actually had to develop players rather than just importing them every year.

You have an automatic advantage as Leavitt only played 7 games last season due to injury. If he plays 12 games this season surely he will have more yards and more touchdowns.
Fair enough, let's just apply it to two games. Mississippi State and Texas seem to be where Leavitt really struggled.
Let's say that Leavitt will be better vs Mississippi State and Texas.

OL returns the interior with talented but untested tackles. The dip shite we got from lsu is our weakest link. And he was a 5 star OL outta HS.
Defense is still the strength of the team.
D Line is stacked. No one outside of Georgia is running on us.
Upgraded the back seven especially at linebacker and corner. We’ve got 8 guys in the secondary that would start at most SEC schools.
Question marks are coaching which we atleast got a preview of in the playoffs against pretty elite competition.
Season comes down to staying healthy and staying focused.

Why would anyone bet on the Mississippi State game? Why would anyone bet that he wouldn’t play better this year unless he dies? He had a QB rating of 73.4 last season against MSU. I have a QB rating of 80 from posting this reply.
So again, there is no place for Leavitt to go against Mississippi State but up.

You have to love the amnesia and hypocrisy of Reb fans. Rebs in early November 2025, Kiffin became a different man while Oxford. He has reunited with his wife, his son starts for Oxford high, stopped drinking and loves hot yoga. Fast forward to end of November 2025. He screws coeds and snorts coke before games. The fan base couldn’t wait for Kiffin’s departure, knowing Coach Pete is responsible for their success.

I member the days when 1 player made up a whole team. I’m sure for example a RB like Dillon jones who started only 5 games and got injured becuase of his worst in FBS run blocking offensive line was the sole reason Wisconsin went 4-8. Your arguments are bad, like really bad.

If there is one thing Wisconsin is known for it is quality offensive linemen. I am sure it was their fault and not the running back.
Jones played in 7 games and started 5. He averaged 3.7 yards per carry before he got hurt.
His replacements averaged 4.3 yards and 4.4 yards.
Wisconsin’s leading rusher had more yards and a higher yards per carry than Jones, and by almost a yard per carry.
Strange how the Wisconsin offensive line was able to block better for the other guys.
