Moore started vs Louisiana Tech and got injured so Chester came in for him. Same situation in the Western Kentucky game. I believe he missed the Oklahoma game as a result of that injury.

After really looking it, Moore played exactly 1 snap vs LA Tech and 3 vs WKU. It's highly unlikely he was actually hurt, both teams run a 3-3-5. Chester was the better matchup vs that front due to his size/strength advantage. Oklahoma also frequently mixes in a nickel with 3 down lineman/0 tech

whatever you say, chief

His PFF grade in pass blocking was 81, his run blocking grade needs to improve

This is literally the dummest post I think I’ve read on here. You can go watch the game against La Tech. Moore went down on the first snap. DJ Chester was known last year to be a major liability and every LSU fan knew when he came in we were in trouble. Teams don’t change centers because of fronts. If you knew anything about football you’d know in college pretty much all teams runs almost all fronts. Just a dumb post from a person trying to seem smart.

So he got injured on the first and third snaps vs the 2 teams that use a 0 tech in their base D and happened to miss the following week against another team that frequently uses one? He lacked the size/strength to hold up vs a traditional nose, so they used Chester instead. How much you want to bet he misses the majority of the La Tech again this year?

Or it could just be a coincidence. Chester was not a better option than Moore, idc if he’s facing a team with a NG or not.
Either way, the 2025 LSU coaching staff is gone. Moore entered the portal briefly and the current staff fought to keep him and Weston Davis while letting other OL like Chester transfer.

You are being intentionally stupid. Go to 3:27 and watch Moore go down injured.

So let me get this straight. Excluding injuries against G5 teams and 26 garbage time snaps vs SE Louisiana, Braelin Moore never missed a down last season. He went through the SEC unscathed, yet got knocked out on the 1st and 3rd snaps against mid major teams that both happened to run a 5/4i-0-3 fronts as their base D(almost like scheduling them was intentional prep for a hypothetical Georgia matchup in the SEC CG).

He got so beat up in those 3 snaps vs WKU, he couldn't play the next week vs Oklahoma, who also uses a 3-man front ~50% of the time. Yet he was completely fine thereafter

I'm curious.

Let's say your conspiracy theory is correct, why did they send him out to "fake" an injury and then limp around on crutches all week? Why not just start Chester for those games?

Strategy, duh. An exaggerated example would be subbing in a QB (no randall cunningham) to punt on 4th down

Stay with me here, they could insert Chester into the starting lineup without telling anyone first. And then say Moore suffered an injury in warmups or whatever. No reason to even trot him out there.

Dude Moore was injured! You can go back and read all the post on the rant of us freaking out because DJ Chester is terrible. DJ was our starting center the year before and he got us killed. Moore was a major upgrade. This isn’t some conspiracy. It was an ankle injury. You can see him get rolled up on the first snap of the La Tech game.

Edited to add you keep trying to make this about “fronts” and you have no idea what you are talking about. Every team uses a nose at some point. Every team gets in 4 down at some point. You think you are smart because you know what 0 is? 7th grade football players know that.

He has to be trolling, which is even more pathetic than actually being ignorant.

Do you also believe Texas' top 3 LBs all coincidentally caught the flu at the same time prior to a scrimmage? Crazy how it happened right before Smith, a projected starter, got dismissed from the team

I have no idea, I don't follow Texas so I don't comment on their inner workings. Mostly, so I don't make a fool of myself like you have here.
