I member the days when 1 player made up a whole team. I’m sure for example a RB like Dillon jones who started only 5 games and got injured becuase of his worst in FBS run blocking offensive line was the sole reason Wisconsin went 4-8. Your arguments are bad, like really bad.
They're replacing 3 of 5 starters...

See, even you can admit that he will be better next year and that this thread is a farce.

So they must be replacing a LSU starter with a LSU backup.
LSU has 5 starting offensive linemen; a center, 2 guards, 2 tackles. Based on LSU’s depth chart 3 of those starters played at LSU last season. LSU’s offensive line sucked last season.

That's cool, have you never heard of players improving from year to year?
It'd be like me saying your quarterback couldn't beat out injured Ty Simpson in the second half of last year.

Sam Leavitt had 82 passing yards against Mississippi State last season.
No one but LSU fans will be surprised though to see Leavitt have 70 passing yards against MSU this season.

That's cool.
Several of you keep talking about it but are obviously too scared to actually stand behind your talk.

Cool. Maybe he can do the jazz hands like Tua.

I totally believe Leavitt will have better stats this season than last. They can’t get much worse. If they do he will be benched.
No one with a brain will make a bet that he will play worse.

Bordelon and Moore are both redshirt seniors. The 2 guys that started in front of them last year, Mubenga and DJ Chester, may have been the 2 worst starting interior linemen in the SEC. And yet Bordelon and Moore, who are both older than Mubenga and Chester, backed them up

Moore was the starter last year, not sure what you're ranting about...

Every summer we hear how much LSU players are going to improve. They usually don’t. But we hear about players improving from year to year.
Like this thread.

I agree, makes this thread seem pretty pointless.

Like this thread.
Just part of the offseason, don't pretend Alabama fans aren't doing the same thing.

Was the OL not:
LT: Adams
LG: Mubenga/Echols
C: Chester/Moore
RG: Thompson
RT: Davis
The plan was originally Echols at LG and Moore at center, but during fall camp it became apparent how garbage the OL was after getting dominated by the interior DL. They ended up rotating throughout the year trying to find a solution, and never found one. Is that not what happened? I'm legitimately asking

Mubenga, Echols, and Chester were battling for the LG spot and Mubenga ended up winning the job. He got injured vs Ole Miss and was out for awhile, in the meantime, Echols came in and played well so they left him in the starting lineup.
Moore was the unquestioned starter at center and started 12 games, he was the best offensive lineman on the team in 2025.
Bordelon played tackle and has since switched positions to guard and put on weight.

Chester was C1 against La Tech, WKU and Oklahoma. He also filled in at LT against Vandy and A&M. I guess I thought he earned the job after starting in 24 with how much bitching there was on tRant about his play, but it looks like it was because of how dogshit the offense was in those 5 games
Bordelon played like 20 snaps all season, 1/2 at TE
FWIW this doesn't change anything, line is still swiss cheese

Incorrect. Moore started vs Louisiana Tech and got injured so Chester came in for him. Same situation in the Western Kentucky game. I believe he missed the Oklahoma game as a result of that injury.

Yes, and changed positions this offseason from tackle to guard after assessments from the new staff.

It definitely was last year. The jury is still out this year, especially with a new staff, new offensive system, and 3/5 new starters.

man you people are scared to death! lol it's ok. go enjoy a nice drink on the sideline with Pete.
Posted on 8/23/26 at 7:00 am to countrytiger60
Why is anyone scared to death? They are simply poking holes in the kids stats. He has proved nothing when it matters, just like Lane Kiffin and LSU. Those are facts that LSU fans overlook
Posted on 8/23/26 at 9:13 am to captdalton
This is LSU’s starting RB lmao
