This is why arguing with Ole Miss fans is pointless.
Lane Kiffin put the team together. He was the head coach for the entire regular season but he doesn't get credit for getting them to the playoffs. It's being intentionally foolish.
Also Ole Miss finished 2nd in total offense last year and 37th in total defense so don't give me this Pete carried him bullshite narrative.

Ole Miss spent double the NIL on offense last year than defense.
In 2024 Pete had the #2 scoring defense in the country #1 defense in the SEC.
Pete was responsible for every player on the defense. Kiffin’s autism limits his interactions to QB and WR’s and occasionally he’ll naturally bond with the zestiest guys in the locker room.

The point still remains. Lane Kiffin brought Ole Miss to the playoffs.
And against Kentucky and LSU with leads he choked on the last drive of the game. Congrats on the stats though. You should probably hang a banner next to the 03 co west champs banner.
