I don't like pick at all. Would rather the Saints not draft a QB at all this year.

Purely as a player, I would've rather taken S Sanders instead of Shough. But drafting Sanders includes the added circus and media attention that come with him. Honestly I get it. That goes for the other teams that took QBs too

IMO teams drafting a QB in round one are the teams that suck and the QB doesn’t have a chance anyway. They don’t spend the money to get a decent OL or receivers

He doesn’t have the arm to play as a starter in the NFL

From what I read, QB's who are older when they enter the league as Shough is tend to not do so well.

In other words it took them a long time to learn how to college QB and the NFL game is just too big, too fast and too complex for an older guy to adjust.
