Good because I don't want to have to listen to all of this political Bs when I'm watching football. Football, baseball or basketball pick your sport is supposed to be a break from all of the utter nonsense out there. Short of turning off the TV there's no escaping it now.

Could you imagine his relationship with the White House press corps? You think he gets pissed at the Alabama media...

I say we put Nick Saban in position as a special commander in the Department of Defense. Saban knows defense. He'd put Kim dung doo in his place and sack hissass.

He really didn't say much and pretty much took both
sides of the issue.

No, he wouldn't.

He doesn't tolerate ineffective people or easily deal with bullshait. To be effective in the political world, you've got to be able to not only survive, but thrive when surrounded by both of those things.

He'd be HIGHLY successful in business as a CEO for that very reason. He'd lead my example and motivate people to perform at a very high level and those that didn't would get processed.

It’s a dark time in our country when our college football coaches speak more coherently and diplomatically than our President on the issues.

Good response.

Thought he would dance around it but he actually answered honesty

Interesting, when they asked the players, they gave "Saban" type answers. They gave the coashspeak answers to that same question

Nah it's only indicative of people being sick of snake-tongued Ivy League politicians being president

Just because he didn't issue a flaming hot take doesn't mean he skirted the issue.

Exactly. I was like, "I'm sick of educated, well-spoken presidents! What I want is someone who speaks like a retarded bully." Voila. Here we are.

Coach Saban, as usual, a breath of fresh air.

I see you learned a new buzz phrase. But, it doesn't apply to someone making fun of how dumb the president is.

He didn't say anything. He just babbled in circles with meaningless generalities. That's weak, cowardly bs.

I find it ironic this keeps coming up. Y'all getting mad because people are kneeling during the anthem. Who cares?

Do you stand up when you're watching at home in your living room?

That's why it's a good response, he didn't take the bait the reporters asked to make a controversial statement.
