It’ll be Dabo especially if Clemson stays at a relevant but non-championship level.

If it’s Pruitt, Saban would have to wait 6 years to retire…lol!!

As long as it isn't Brian Kelly, I'll live.

Seriously. Look at the situation at LSU; loved Saban. Started hating Miles on the first loss, that morphed into bitching about headsets etc. Growing discontent despite maintaining a top 5 overall program for a decade. Took 2 straight craterings (2020, 2021) to chill out the mindset here.
Bama's going to be toxic to work at for a decade; nothing will be good enough.

I don't see Kelly taking the Bama job even if it is offered.

Would love that as an LSU fan

Would love to see Demeco Ryans continue his success but realize that the NFL is not where he wants to be and come home to Alabama.

Dan Lanning. He'll continue to improve Oregon. Was a Bama GA I believe.

It'll be someone totally off the radar if Byrne is still the AD.

How old was JoPa?
UAB has probably already cloned Saban and will release version 2 in the near future.

Mama's calling Dabo home

Dabo’s brand ain’t going to work at Bama. He is also probably self aware enough to realize that. An insulated smaller school that has enough exposure is the only place it would.

I woudl lolve for dabo to go there. He has shown constantly over the course of his 15 year career that without an elite, "generational", overall #1 pick at QB, his teams aren't much to write home about. Especially considering the extremely weak compeition he faces yearly.
Funny, he seems to find those QBs more often than most coaches.

Bama will follow the Bear Bryant route. Rather than go outside of his tree, they hired Ray Perkins. They stayed writhing the tree from that point forward until CNS. It will be someone who coached or played for CNS. Someone with head coaching experience. Someone who has been successful. Figure out which former coordinator is most successful in the NFL or NCAA and you have yiur person. My guess is Mike Daboll. GA for CNS at Michigan St. Coordinator for CNS at Alabama. Succes in that roll. No issues /drama. He had a great year last year and likely will have another. The real question is whether he prefers the NFL or college.
