1908 was too long ago but pre-Bryant Alabama is the sweet spot obviously

Well now we're right back to Bear and Saban again, without them, you have one title since the 40s.

Alabama would claim 1908, not sure why LSU doesnt.

No they “doesnt” (sic...laugh at inability to spell)... if Alabama just claimed random great seasons they would claim 1945, 1949, 1966, 1977. Again..have you ever heard of the Rose Bowl and what it meant?

Sidewalk, I’ve heard that increased lots of vaccine for rabid-hate-Tide disease are being shipped to Louisiana to treat severe cases. You qualify...

Hint... you will never raise LSU’s standing in college football by denigrating Alabama. That tactic only works among 7th grade girls. Honestly?...very few fans in the rest of the country follow LSU much or even think much of the program. I know it is hard for you to comprehend, much less accept... but ... it is true.

Now now, there tiger... don’t go in so... lots of other school such as Oregon State are in the same boat..

Jesus Christ, you really are retarded

1908 wasn't just a "random great season," the NCAA recognizes LSU as a national champion for that season, LSU just doesn't claim it.

Alabama fans: “Saban never had back to back ten win seasons at LSU”

Roll footage of Les Miles winning ten games his first three seasons

Alabama fans: “..........”

What’s your point??

Miles better than Saban? Obviously not, we both agree on that.

LSU better than Alabama? Hopefully we both acknowledge no.

My point is obvious. Some folks like to talk out both sides of their mouth when it comes to Saban/LSU. This is true of each school tbh.

If he would’ve stuck around there’s little doubt he would’ve had a similar amount of success at LSU as he has had at Bama.

After all even ole Les parlayed his groundwork into three straight 11+ win seasons and a natty. And that’s including our shitty 05 recruiting class that Miles had after Saban headed to Miami.

If I were a top recruit, the chance to start immediately would be a powerful incentive.

That's because you're not very smart. The smart recruit who has NFL potential is going to go where he can maximize his financial value...whether that means playing only on special teams the first year or starting on offense/defense. Bama has had multiple first round draft picks who didn't start the first year...Mark Barron, Dre Kirkpatrick, Mark Ingram, etc.

Only an idiot would think Barron and Kirkpatrick would have increased their value as much coming out of high school by going to Samford or Jax State and starting right away.

Good god!!! Do y’all have any idea how sniveling, jealous, whining and caviling the bunch of you appear to be? Don’t you have any pride? It’s all“but Alabama didn’t do this...” , or “an LSU player was better once...” or “why can’t everyone see LSU is the best?”...etc... all the time over and over...

...because only blind, deaf, and dumb LSU fans believe that. Everyone else in the entire football world just rolls their eyes at the never ending pumping and hand wringing...

Get a life... LSU had things to be proud of as does Georgia, Iowa, Arizona State, etc. So I recommend quit embarrassing your school by constantly throwing jealous looks at the king.

Maybe. We’ll never know.

LSU fans have been lamenting this since he arrived at Alabama though

If only...

If Saban stays at LSU he'd have done the same. The thing is, and Bama fans don't want to admit it but they know it's true: Saban goes to at least 8 schools besides LSU and Bama, he's winning 'ships: Florida, Texas, OU, Georgia, Ohio State, FSU, USC and Tennessee, he's winning ships. Heck, he'd have even won two or three at Michigan and Auburn.

Pure baloney.

He won 1 NC in 5 years at LSU 20% rate, Bama 6 of 14, 43% rate.

Lost at least 3 games 4 of the 5 years at LSU. At Bama he has lost 3 games in 2 of 14 years.

His 5 years at LSU Saban lost 12 games by double digits, at Bama he lost 3 in his first 5 years. He's lost a total of 6 games by double digits at Bama in 14 years.

Alabama has had 5 coaches with a >80% on field winning % (60 games or more), the rest of the SEC combined has 3, LSU has none.

Bama was 45-20-5 vs LSU before Saban arrived. He's gone 11-4, not much better than before. I.e., you got your brains beat out before Saban, as well as during Saban, therefore, the likelihood is that Alabama will beat your brains out after Saban.

Certainly, to this point Alabama is a much better football program than LSU with or without Nick Saban. Wallace Wade, Frank Thomas, Paul Bryant, Gene Stallings, Nick Saban (the greatest). They all won at a higher rate than the best LSU coach, in fact, than almost any other coach in the history of the SEC.
