What does any Mecca of college football University do to historically be great?

Exactly my point, you have nothing proprietary that you offer, outside of the Saban and Bryant years, Bama hasn't really won many more championships than any other elite program.

Its pretty clear that Saban and Bryant were great before coming to Bama based on their success at other places.

There's no shame in admitting the truth, Bama had the fortune of landing two tGOAT coaches, the fortune was probably stronger with Saban since Bryant was an Alabama man anyway but it was fortunate nonetheless. However, Alabama didn't squander the opportunity either.

Alabama's historical success is due to them being fortunate enough to land the top two tGOAT coaches.

Its more about those guys than the Alabama program itself and before you Gumps get mad, please explain what inherent advantage Alabama has over any other elite program?

No one gets upset or mad, "Bammers" simply just point out that we have 5 NC winning coaches outside the Goats. Before Saban got to LSU...Bama still had the more recent title between Bama and LSU. Nope it wasn't Bear either.

Coach Bryant won a conference title at TAMU and Kentucky. But he's not the coach Paul "Bear" Bryant until he gets to the Capstone. Where he sets records and dominants unlike any head coach before him.

You have the measuring stick for coach Saban yourself. The man spent 5 years in BR. Compare the first 5 years at both schools?

The man never had a back to back 10 win season at LSU or anywhere else, ever. The percentage of wins, pure dominant seasons, weeks at number one at ALABAMA is just off the charts. Then and only then has the legend begun, just as with coach Bryant.

When talent meets Mecca it's a beautiful thing.

Neither A&M or Kentucky were elite programs

LSU wasn't an elite program when Saban got there.

Again, you continue to fail to list anything proprietary that Alabama has over any other elite program.

What a fabulous montage of excuses, biased opinions, false narratives, character assassination, and delusion by LSU fans about a guy who single handed took LSU out of the gutter and was directly responsible for TWO nat'l championships for them!
You people are so jealous and envious of Alabama's unmatched success and tradition, that you're blinded by the fact that Bama fans take great satisfaction in sitting back and toying with y'all's arse and laughing at you all the while. You actually allow us to abuse your asses!

Again, exactly my point. LSU has 4 NC winning coaches and they really should claim the 1908 title.

Alabama itself isn't head and shoulders better than any other elite football program in the country. They simply had Bryant and Saban.

We get to come this place where they meet wreck shop talk chit with little they can do about it. Being able to emancipate them on the regular.... it's the devil's fruit.

There's three Alabama fans in this topic and not a single one can actually state what Alabama offers that any other elite program doesn't.

Four Bammers now, all have come up empty.

Damnit, they know Alabama is better, just can't actually come up with a reason as to why or how.

Homerism at its finest.

Imo you can easily beat that pitch if it’s a kid from Louisiana.

Not really. It’s honestly probably easier to recruit the kids from Louisiana to Alabama. All you gotta do is show the kid how much less ghetto Tuscaloosa is than BR.

This is where Alabama fans unintentionally say that Miles is just as good of a coach as Saban

Why are the Yankees better than the Orioles?

Why are the Lakers better than the Clippers?

Why are the Patriots better than the Jets?

They just are and everyone knows it.

Your stance is that Alabama has more money than any other elite program?

Ahh gotcha, yes. I agree that Alabama is on par with other elite programs when they don’t have 1 of the top two coaches in CFB history. Correct.
