New flash. Smart will have more to prove after losing a boat load of talent and showing that it just wasn't a fluke!

Kirby is like the son who one day becomes stronger and more powerful than his father. We do thank Saban for all the training he gave Kirby. Saban is a genius and Kirby was an incredibly attentive student. I will actually feel a little sorry for Saban the day Kirby surpasses him. I don't hate Bama and have always liked Saban. But, time moves on and things change. And things are changing big time in the SEC and the nation.

I agree. Can't imagine the changes Tua and DeVonta will have in store for next year. Hell, they were just babies this year and they ripped out your rather large gullet. Imagine what they'll do for an encore?

So what does an average record in the NFL say about his coaching ability?

It says he's a good coach

I guess everyone can't win the west either. Bama sure didn't.

I guess everyone can't win a national championship. Georgia sure didn't.

Georgia gonna Georgia - yeah we are. Stand back and watch.
In the meantime you and your fans might actually show up for the NC game should you be lucky enough to get there again. I know Ga had a head start in getting tickets and they were far from cheap but we were shocked to see how few Bama fans came. They were saying 70/30 but that looked to be generous to Bama from where I was sitting.

Because one class effectively wipes out the last four or five, right?

Congrats on winning the attendance national championship game national championship. A real honor. Hopefully you are as proud of that as you are your guys you were so proud of for losing it.

They're coming. Despite all the bravado, Bama fans sense it too and seem to be pretty nervous about it.

Lol. Alabama has the TWO most talented teams in the country.
I figured you saw that when our whole 2nd team offense beat y'all in the national championship game.

Have heard this since 2000. And auburn still has as many SEC Championships as UGA since then. And a national title.

I have a feeling fall Saturdays are the only days you've spent on campus in Athens, am I right or am I right?

It probably had a lot to do with the fact that it was our 6th National Title game since 2009 and it was UGA's first since Jimmy Carter was in office.

But hey they had fun and walked away proud, so really it was a win for them.

I agree
meh.

Kirby has quite a few rings to accumulate before he passes Saban. Also, who has changed with the times better than Nick Saban?

Kirby has capitalized on recreating parts of the Saban system while doing it with more positive energy and a smile on his face. A Saban system that seems refreshing will be dangerous for Georgia's opponents.

Saban now has a new rival. It'll only make Saban better.
