Thats not word for word but it's pretty much what he said. I can't remember if he said Prude's name or not.

He did mention about the busted coverage after the game but he never mentioned Prude by name or for that matter ever throw any player under the bus when he was the HC here. He may be an ego maniac and a prick but from all media reports he was pretty protective of his players during his LSU days.

Saban is Tigerbait.

Crowton is gonna abuse his D for the third straight year. He can decide afterwards if it warrants the bus treatment.

why do saban threads continue to come up here? that's what the SEC Rant is for.

Disagree - Saban as a topic is always appropriate here because he is Tigerbait.

And what the hell happened to him. He looks like he aged about 20 years in the last five. Looks like shite.

he's living in freakin' Alabama. Not to mention his wife hates it which means he's catching hell every day at home then has to go to work and suck hind tit to the legend of the almighty Bear Bryant. They probably make him kiss the feet of his statue like the nuns kiss the feet of Jesus on the crucifix before morning prayer.

I was at that game, and they were plain outphysicaled all night long. It wasn't cute plays, penalties, or any other lame excuse. Bama just got beat fair and square by the Utes. I wonder if the average Bama fan is using that excuse? KC.

accourding to bammer nation, Saban had the team lose on purpose to the Utes to teach the team a lesson about what can happen if you don't show up to play.

of course, they could have beaten Utah by 60 if they wanted, but since Saban is so wise, he saw the game as a teaching opportunity.

if you ever wonder why bammers have zero problem getting pantsed by a mountain west team, thats why.

they basically count the game as a win, either way...since they COULD have won it if they wanted to.

All of you complaining about Saban would in reality do anything to have him back on the sidelines at LSU so don't fool yourselves. Get over it and move on..

Sir, respectfully, opinions vary on this point.

Yeah, I just thought Utah was clearly the better team. I don't think Andre Smith would have made much difference.

That's why they claim so many championships, because, they could have won all of them, had they so chosen.

In the Sugarbowl I watched, the Utes just plain whipped their asses. Faster, tougher and ready to play some ball. Amazing that Saban would single out one guy when it was pretty much a complete dismantling.

I know a lot of Alabama fans and I asked them what happen in the Sugar bowl and they all mention Andre Smith.

Try ending the season on your 4th string quarterback.

Reminds me how he hung our QB's out to dry in 02 and 04.

He may have been right, but it's something a decent coach doesn't say OUT LOUD.

Gary Barnett at CU was famous for this too and I hated him for it.

The Gumps are going to have a much better understanding of the totality of Nick saban after this year.

so, is there going to be a link to Saban blaming the loss on Smith?

Come again?

Maybe not by name, but the dude constantly blamed the players for every failure!

I though he had learned his lesson because when he got to Bama his first year he started couching his language a bit and talked about HIS responsibility more. But last year he reverted back to his normal arrogant self.

I don't care how sucessful he is in the future, LSU is better off with this a-hole residing in a different state!
