Yeah that team theyve built has been in the making for 3 years now, this was always going to be their big season. Question is if the pitching will hold. To be fair, the hitters theyve had over the last several seasons have bashed
I still think Bama is super suspect. I like Oklahoma st there
These are nation rankings, columns B through J are offensive stats, and K through R are pitching. Fielding is in column U. I just use stats I deem useful in judging team strengths. ELO and SOS are also included out in columns W and X.

Little Rock and Coastal made the tourney - embarassingby Meauxjeaux

Little rock got an auto bid for winning their tourney and coastal got an at large, has been consistently great for over a decade, and has one of the best coaches in the game. How is it embarrassing? And why specifically those two teams?
I can with their manipulation of the metrics.
The rankings sheet still exists, but i dont think theyll be much of an appetite to see it this year

Don't forget throwing our Friday night starter against the 4 seed

You cant truly appreciate those threads without the occasional year like this i guess. And jay will be running out our ace plenty against 4 seeds in the coming years
Yep, 2006 we thought we were getting in too, been an lsu fan for a longtime, only the 2nd time watching this knowing we wont be in, crazy.
This is usually like christmas eve to me with next friday being christmas day. Just a bummer. Speculating who is in the BR regional, which 1 seed will be opposite us and inevitably lose their regional. How mad people will get if lsu chooses the early friday timeslot
Don’t embarrass yourself like this
Why the hesitation on moore? Do you think his injury is more serious than reported? Jay seems to be going out of his way to say he’ll be back next year. The core of starting options of moore, schmidt, evans, and paz is a really good start. Id say maybe 1 more starting option to bring in with several relievers.
Bilj, i gotta say, that was some of your finest work. The delivery was so perfect, calm, and then zing!

Id like his hit tool to be a bit better than brazzy, other than that, i agree

Depends on your opinion and definition of a bust. But he was a dependable arm on a dogshit staff after not even being trusted to pitch through an inning a year ago

Well lsu just held him to pitch the opener of the sec tournament, presumably their best arm, in their opinion.
