he was never any good... lsu made him, not the other way around... no different than les miles

Lol
Its not uncommon for them to bus on road trips in conference. Im for it, helps build team chemistry

It’s clear Tony had put an emphasis on offense aside from SS. But let’s not pretend that two errors on routine plays in one inning is common

Neither are two wild pitches

quote:

Good for LSU to know he can start and extend. Just need to replace the bullpen piece now.

Gonna be fun watching you lose your shite next time he comes out of the pen to save a game

quote:

Curiel is awesome. The problem is he’s the only one that’s consistent at a high level. Tennessee has multiple.

Only if you ignore objective hittings stats
Both teams have 4 guys with greater than 100 wRC+ in sec play

quote:

Definitely fortunate Tenn staff didn’t come in at 100%, with Russell, Wiggins etc down or limited

Tennessee was incredibly fortunate guidry is hurt, sheerin isnt back yet, and shores is still limited

quote:

Meh if we're being honest Tennessee dominated the first two games. LSU didn't earn the win Friday, Tennessee gave it.

Thats true. Only if you ignore lsu throwing 2 wild pitches that led to 2 tennessee runs that night. And the 3 390 foot missiles lsu hit deep to centerfield that got caught at the track.

Which, lets be honest, you want to forget those
Call me crazy, but guys who post stuff like this, dont watch MAAC baseball

“The wheels are coming off. Don't be surprised if they travel to a regional again. They could lose each of the last series, including USCe. There's no fire or swagger in this team.”
Or he just lazily thinks its on the west coast based on the name
Ill be honest, i knew he never watched sheerin pitch before lsu, just based on his post history, but thanks for really bringing it further into the light

Id start ware, go 3-4 innings, noot for 2-3, schmidt for 1-2, then fontenot for an inning
You took like a year or so hiatus when mainieri was fired, so give cheer the benefit of the doubt

Baseball is a sport prone to streaks and slumps. While catching a hot streak in the NCAA tournament can be the ticket a CWS title, a slump in April tells us very little about who will be hot in June. You have to look at the overall picture, not snapshots in time. Arkansas did have a bad series loss at home, but they also won road series against Vandy and Ole Miss. Tennessee lost 2 home series, but also won road series against Alabama and Ole Miss.

You seem to be stuck on the polls being either a season ending predictor or a power rating system, and its just not ever gonna be either.

Been through it as well, and it sucks, but it doesnt excuse the way he has handled everything over the last 3 months.

Arkansas and Tennessee have the same or better conference records in a tougher conference

Arkansas and tennessee have lost 3 straight and 3 out of 4 sec series

Unc has an argument and its close

Fsu has lost 2 conference series and hasnt played as tough a schedule. Only 2 q2 games for fsu

Georgia? Lol just lost 5 of their last 7 and got swept by vandy.

Bama? Come on

Okay, then who deserves to be ahead of them?
You dont get dinged for margin of victory in polls, and you shouldnt
Weird dude, perfect reliever mentality
