Nothing to see here. The players are both good with each, apology issued and they have moved on. Seems like some want to make a mountain out of a molehill.

A ref saw him punch the guy and threw the flag. It's an easy call to eject him at that point since it was obviously witnessed and fighting gets an automatic ejection. The ref should be suspended or disciplined in some way.
The player should be suspended for the whole game next week since the normal penalty is to be tossed for the remainder of the 2nd half and the 1st half of the following game when flagged for fighting/punching someone in the 2nd half of a game.
