Except for 06 and 08.

Nope, sorry. Using the logic espoused in this thread, any team which has ever won a title without going undefeated was lucky as shite and backed their way into the title game and probably should have lost every other game on their schedule.

Thanks for playing.

Call it luck or whatever, but I think it's more that he's the beneficiary of SEC/Bama bias. But then again he had a big hand in generating the winning that led to that bias being created in the first place.
Considering the shape the Bama program was in when he got to t'town, I agree with you. Also, considering the amount of talent he brings in every year, the way he developes, trains, and prepares them to do their fricking job and execute on the field. When a coach does that shite on a consistant basis, "luck" just some how follows him.

This thread is like a microcosm of the entire LSU/Alabama relationship on tSECr.

Pretty much.

Is it time for another Auburn thread yet?

I don't know if I'd go that far, but we could highjack this thread, make it about Auburn and, incidentally, improve its quality by a hundredfold.

Discuss.

BTW, Toomer's lemonade is the best I've EVER had.

Even Saban said we out played y'all and deserved to win in 2012 but y'all made late plays.

Can't have it both ways. If this is true, then LSU should have lost in '11 meaning Bama makes title game easily, no luck required.

Saban is the best, and also the most lucky?

I didn't even bother to ready anythng past the OP, because I know it's going to be 48,683 pages of MulliGumpTeabagNeckSkoalChinJuiceToothless Things whining and complaining and crying......

Yet more whining, complaining, crying, pissing & moaning; but I still have only managed to read the OP. How predictable

And to evidence this, you responded to your own "contribution" to this thread, such as it is.

Would lose to LSU in that position 29 times out of 30.

Fixed it for you.

Luck happens to everyone, Saban's Bama and LSU teams were good enough to take advantage. That is all that counts.

Saban's LSU got lucky by beating out USC in 2003.
Miles, LSU got lucky after losing twice in 2005.
Saban's Bama got lucky when Oklahoma St. lost to Iowa in OT in 2011.
Saban's Bama was good enough to make a long scoring drive against LSU in the 4th. quarter.

Bama was the better team last year even if LSU out played them for the majority of the second half.

Sumlin got lucky with Manziel--who knew?
Miles got lucky getting Cam Cameron to LSU.

The SEC West is now a three headed monster with Ole Miss looking like a real spoiler this year.
