nearly lose to Georgia, and should have lost to LSU and still make the title game
It hurts you where? Oh, well it's not gonna get better until you learn to relax the muscle and make sure to use lubricant.

Which one? Such a fluke that he blocked 2 in that game

Unless you start the season #1 or #2 and go undefeated, you're lucky.

Its the truth and you know it. Lets not mention, the Peterson int call a few years back, and the 9-6 loss to LSU AT bama, and still getting to play them again like the first lose never happened. And they definatly got outplayed last year at LSU.Is it all luck? Its that and a lot of BS help. The worm will turn

Football is finally fixed with a playoff system and it is not about luck, it is about winning the games that are played. Win and you are in!
Different thread but the troubles are just beginning with a playoff system. Instead of hundreds of people with a vote including the coaches who probably have imo the most accurate poll, they are goin to a board where. Few decided the fate of all, kind of like our government today. This play off is going to suck.

1. Cart McCry is a bleeding vag, and he only lasted for 1 drive. There was no clear indication that he would have sustained any success against BAMA's defense throughout the game.
This.
Nothing Colt McCoy did even suggested he was a difference maker in that game. The same outside sweep play that led them down field on that opening drive was also successful under Gilbert. Colt McCoy did nothing but hand the ball off. Granted he would've likely made less mistakes than Gilbert, but nothing even implied Colt McCoy dominated that opening quarter.

2. Any team that loses to ISU is not worthy of the BCSNCG, and is suspect. OSU was suspect that year and definitely NOT better than either BAMA or LSU.
And besides that, you compare their wins over A&M and Kansas State that year, then compare Arky's wins over A&M and Kansas State. The BCSNCG would have resulted in LSU defeating OSU by 21+ points. I love the tragedy excuse (when I'm sure 90% of the team had even heard of said basketball coach before), but a fraction of Tuscaloosa was leveled by a tornado leading up to the season and that didn't seem to affect their gameplay did it?

These arguments have been rehashed ad nauseum but Alabama didn't win their division and they already lost to LSU. If the purpose of a football game is to determine the better team, well we already had that answer. At best, and extra game b/w the two is lousy entertainment (esp as compared to a fresh opponent) and at worst it undermines the results of BOTH games (so they went 1-1 against each other, that's a definitive answer!).
So, what was the purpose of Alabama continuing to play? If one loss knocked them out of contention, why didn't they just throw in the towel for the remainder of the season?
The Conference champion angle doesn't seem to bother people in other collegiate sports, so why was it suddenly so important in football? There is no rule in place saying conference/division winners can't play in the big game. Hell, what would we have done if conferences didn't exist and teams were all independent?

What about the non-PI call in 2004? Or the BS intentional grounding call that led to a safety in 2009? What even suggests LSU would have won the game if the PP call was overturned, especially considering 'Bama was dominating LSU's offense? What about LSU getting outplayed by 'Bama in 2011 and 2010? Two can play that game, guy.
