Saban is now saying someone was clapping to get the low snap.

In a Fox article published today:
Early doesn’t equal low.
“Somebody” was making a clapping noise?
Clapping by “Someone” was not mentioned in the post game.
Was someone clapping on the sideline?
Or can anyone find me a link to the command center all 22 view to see if there was “someone” clapping?

So someone must have been clapping all season except for, of course, the UGA game for some reason.

If "someone" was clapping early thruout the game to interfere with the snap why didn't Saban address the issue with the refs during the game? It is not like Saban never works the refs. If you have to start making up excuses for your failures it is time to retire.

Bama blamed clapping in the secondary during the Auburn game. They love this clapping excuse.

Clapping is dumb.
Do a number and/or color sequence which allows the QB to be emphatic on a non-snap number/color potentially drawing the opposition offsides.

Watch the interview he did with Pat McAfee. He says everything right there, when and what happened. When you go back and watch the film he's right.
The Michigan players didn't do anything wrong, and that's not what Saban said. They were hitting their pads to get the attention of their teammates since clapping is illegal. It caused the center to snap the ball a time or two when Milroe wasn't ready. One in particular was when the ball got by Milroe for a large loss and he had to fall on it.

Why Alabama lost:
1. No referee help for Alabama.
2. Harbaugh out-coached Saban.
3. Michigan was just a better team.
