Saban on scheduling: “I want to see nine or 10 conference games and two out-of-conference games against teams like Oklahoma and Arizona State but no one (in the SEC) agrees with me.”

Saban will be dead and Bama mediocre again before that happens.

Drop the number of wins required for a bowl and more people might support it

Correct. Because all of your coaches are huge bleeding pussies.

There are 800 bowls and multiple 5 win teams go to one every year

Yeah.
If you go to 9 conference game, that likely takes away an easier game (doubt teams will give up rivalry games).
And for teams who live for the music city bowl, its more difficult to get there if youre playing Auburn or LSU along with the regular slate, instead of playing Samford or Austin Peay

Yeah, but its based on academics.
You aren't going to get backing of smaller schools without this caveat
Not saying I'd be pro giving a bowl to a losing team, but it would entice schools like UK and Vandy to agree

How exactly is this preventing Bama from making a better schedule? Besides the permanent cross division.
