Nick Saban now owns another record.

Josh Jacobs, who was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the first round Thursday night, became Saban’s 34th first round draft pick.

No coach has ever produced more first round picks during the common draft era.

Saban entered Thursday with 31 first round picks, which was two behind legendary Penn State coach Joe Paterno in that category. Saban then added three more first round picks Thursday night — Quinnen Williams, Jonah Williams and Jacobs.

I wonder where Pete Carroll at USC ranks. Although he was only there for 8 years I think.

And yet last year's opening day 53 man rosters in the NFL only had 4 more Alabama players than LSU.

Alabama* = NFLBustU.

How does a team with that much talent get their shite pushed in by Clemson or anybody for that matter. This isn't a troll. Seriously They should never lose a game. They have more talent at any team of All Star SEC players. That we have beaten them as frequently as we have, which admittedly is not terribly frequent these days, is astounding. There is not one player on Auburn's team last year or a 2017 that would have started for bama. Not one.

Their talent is incredible but they do get the Saban bump: when a player signs for them, he moves up in the rankings and when he signs somewhere else he goes down.

Clemson had three guys in the first round last night. They play no one all year. Clemson got their shite pushed in by Bama in 2017. They were planning all year for Bama. Bama's coaching staff last year was kind of dysfunctional.

It happens

Bama should never lose again. Ever. It's inexcusable with that kind of talent differential.

He doesn't lose often. I'd say only losing 21 games in 12 years is pretty indicative of the talent and coaching.

Saban is 146-21 at Alabama. How much better should he be?

You don’t actually believe this. Since his first season at Alabama he’s had one season in which he lost more than one regular season game. That’s absurd and about as close to perfection as you’re going to find in big time college sports.

Someone doesn't understand the concept of injuries, apparently.

That's not how football works. Even basketball which inherently favors the better team to a larger degree has a good number of upsets.

Golly gee. Well I guess LSU and Alabama are equally good and, gosh, I guess the LUSers must do really well when playing the football, as goody as Alabama, and “with all that talent” they must sometimes finish better than THIRD IN THE SEC WEST every year and beat Alabama a lot too. (Uhhhhh...)

Gosh gee the LSU must be some good yeah.. Golly, NFLBustU? I remember when Fournette was the greatest RB of all time, Heisman winner, and the LUSers had eight first round draft picks, lock.

For an historically middle of the pack team, LUSers sure are feisty.

Consequently, he has also given away the most Dodge Chargers ever.

He doesn't just give them away. They're earned.
