Good to see Saban recognizes Bama t-shirt fans are the worst fans in the sport.

Yep... That's what he said ..

This has nothing to do with fans - and everything to do with encouraging his players

It sounds funny but that's what I think it is too.

I personally believe Golding should be released.. BUT I don't know what's going on behind the scenes... Saban still has him here for a reason...

This puts you in harmony with everything I just said about Golding. Petulance is apparently where you find it.

Lemme give you a biblical example... Jesus says don't judge lest you be judged... Took me 20 years of studying to understand what Jesus was saying ESPECIALLY when applying logic and reason..

Going all biblical I see. What part of a 4-year sample size is a rush to judgment? Let me help you out with those 20 years of confirmation about the definition of judge and be judged. It was a moral judgment that subjected the people Jesus was discussing to everlasting destruction. That was a no-no. No one wishes Golding that fate in life. Or thinks he deserves such an eventuality based on being the BAMA DC.

The principle of "judgment" in any other content has little to do with evaluating a person's job performance. Otherwise, coach Saban and I, and frankly many others, as business owners and having let people go over the years, would be in serious biblical trouble.

Heavy sigh.. I stated what I believe based on what I see. I also stated that I don't know all of the facts and that I trust the one who does...

Funny thing about scripture is that He usually taught several truths in one verse... Won't get into a theological discussion because I actually agree with you..

One question though, how many titles has Bama won over the last for years?
Another couple, what's the teams current record, rank?

Thanks for driving my point home.. Thanks for that BTW... Also good to know that you know what's going on behind the scenes in the locker room and at practice. Can you get me a few autographs?? That said, Saban still has the guy around for a reason... Wonder why... I don't know maybe I'm just naive.. Maybe he wants to go e the man a chance, until we start getting our asses handed to us regularly... Maybe investing in someone's potential might pay off... Maybe teams throw everything they can into beating Bama... I know it's just a movie but did you ever watch Rocky 1???

Final thought, you seem upset... Don't be upset ma'am... There are about 500 other CFB programs that would give their firstborn to be in Bama's shoes...

OK, I guess that's a compliment. As close as it gets anyway.

Do you know what's going on when Bryce throws 5 TDs in a game? When BAMA gives up 5 TDs in a game? Commenting on what you see is really not that farfetched. Sort of a tradition among humanoids. Seriously, it's how coach Saban figures out the starting lineup every week.

Don't let this distract you from the fact Pete Golding is awful. Worst hire of the Saban era.

How do you know?

What makes you more qualified than Saban to tell who on the staff is a bad hire?

Because to me you look like 99% of dumb frick Alabama fans who just look at the scoreboard and blame the guy in charge of the defense, and you stop there because none of you have the balls to blame the guy who actually runs the defense.

I bet you were probably crying about firing BoB after the LSU game too.

This is the kind of logic that kills me. Who are you to say a Yugo isn't just as good as a BMW ? Not like you can build either.

Yet - as a fellow that drives - I can absolutely tell you that BMW is superior to Yugo. Even though I can't build either.

Saban is telling you - don't judge me. Then don't judge him, 'Bama fan. But Nick also wants you to blindly cheer for him this year.

It's all because - hat tip to the poster that clued me up on this - he's setting expectations. I guess he's seen the film. He does not expect to beat Georgia.

If only Alabama could hire a HC who knows what he is doing, so that as a fan I can just sit back and watch knowing there is someone with enough coaching experience to make good decisions.

Oh wait, that's exactly what Alabama has and only dumb frick emotional fans think otherwise.

PS: If you want to know which car is best, ask a good mechanic.

Yet he's stayed at Bama.
Makes you wonder what the fans are like at the places he left. Must be the absolute worst.

He's telling you - "Don't worry about what THAT team does. Just worry about what OUR team does. And don't bitch when our team isn't as good as their team. After all - you're just a fan. Shut up and cheer."

And look at you - swallowing it like Nina Hartley.

He’s basically saying what every non Bama fan has been saying since Saban got there. They expect to be in the national championship game. They don’t show up unless it’s a big game. And the next step back to earth is going to be a long fall when Saban leaves.

You think I needed him to tell me anything?

I've been an Alabama fan for over 40 years. If you think I'm going to be upset about a 1 loss season, you're an even bigger idiot than I thought.

Saban with the Hail Mary trying to get his team on track for the rest of this season. Surest sign yet that he's very concerned that this team doesn't have "it" and will only have 2 games left if they keep playing the way they are.
