Acquiring talent is literally in his job description. He does that at a extremely high level. And he’s won 194 games in 16 seasons. I think he’s slightly above average.

I've never, in my life, seen a dude at such a high level ... actually change his formula like Nick Saban did. And the old dude got results with the change.
Yes, he's getting older. And yes, the talent he's working with is changing. But I'm not ready to bet against Nick Saban yet. If there is one dude, at this level, that can change his stripes ... it's Saban.
And we're talking about a low point where he lost two games by a combined four points on the road.
He's fanatical in his pursuit of this. And that must be awful to live with. But I do not question his moves at Alabama. They're not all perfect. But the man has shown a quest for excellence, devoid of personal ego, that's almost painful to watch even as the results are beautiful.
