I loved the responses by Aggie about this class. “The last class was so good no one could find a spot to play in this class”. They really think a team is made up of only starters

I mean I can't imagine anyone who is a top DL wanting to go in after that class for sure. Maybe they got 1/2 who are solid Texas kids and studs (Hicks I think was a DL?)

They had 7 top 100 guys at Edge and DL. No reason for them to sign anyone in 2023 for that assuming everyone stays. That's crazy good.

Does OSU stop recruiting 5* WRs because they signed multiple 5* WRs ahead of them…?

You have to think USC fans are really digging deep into their pockets after losing to Tulane…with the Heisman winner

Prove him wrong...

You can't get fricking butt hurt by the statement. Truth is truth. If it hurts your little feelings, then man the frick up.

Tejas and Arch Manning

he story came out a week ago and immediately drew attention across the college football world: The University of Texas, in an effort to convince star high school quarterback Arch Manning to play football for the Longhorns, spent nearly $280,000 on his official recruiting visit.

Not sure of exactly what Saban is accusing them of? "bama's NIL avg. is almost twice what A&M's is according to your chart.

Saban is essentially doing what he did last year, trying to suck more money from his donors and building in an excuse when his team tanks again this season.

FWIW, On3 is all about getting clicks regardless of whether they have the facts straight or not.

NIL spending is just the CFB equivalent of a teams payroll in MLB. The Athletics are never going to be able to consistently compete with the Yankees because they can’t sign top free agents just like Washington State is never going to be able to keep up with Ohio State or Alabama because they can’t compete in NIL.

I’d argue CFB is far more unbalanced than the NFL which is at least regulated via a salary cap.

It’s making for a very boring sport unless you are one of the 5-7 teams who it benefits.

Another thread where Saban whines about something else

he's the Don Trump of college coaches when it comes to whining.

OSU has never signed 6 top 100 receivers in a class. They signed an entire 2 deep of top 100 DL in a class.

I'm not sure OSU has ever signed more than 6 top 100 receivers in 2 classes combined.

Pay-for-play, which is not NIL. Why people still can’t understand the difference is beyond me.

…what does On3 have to do with this? The article linked was published by SDS.

Are are you saying On3 not having A&M in the 2023 Top 10 is innacurate…?

This wasn't just for Manning. It was for 9 visits.

Still absurd, but that's a bad line as it's just false

Saban is a lying, cheating, short man syndrome, grade A narcissistic a-hole.

He literally said that A&M paid EVERY player on their roster and Alabama has NEVER paid a single one. I mean, dude is a total clown, even if he his the GOAT college football coach. He’s probably played a dozen games in his entire tenure at Bama where he played against a more talented roster, and he’s done that by somehow getting the top class year after year after year, and he’s asking people to believe that others are paying, but not him?!

It’s just beyond absurd. Dude is an asshat.

So, basically, he’s like all the other coaches at big-time programs?

Coach Saban just brought in 9-5 stars in the latest recruiting cycle. So, you are still missing the story and the point, per usual.

It’s amazing how some of the talking points about Alabama and Saban persist despite all evidence to the contrary.

We got a good shot at getting at least 2 top 100 DL this year. Dude we need another DE and DT. Shemar Turner and McKinley Jackson leave next year! You got to restock the trenches!

Sad.

How can you be that afraid of Texas? Guess he knows better than anyone the beatdown we're about to put on em.

A&M didn’t stop recruiting them either. Jimbo went 5-7 with a horrible passing game so they stopped signing.

We get all these threads bemoaning NIL and how it's killing college football. Coach Saban goes into specifics about how unsustainable all of this NIL greed is and folks fall apart because Coach Saban said it.

Several Alabama recruits over the last two seasons were quoted saying Alabama didn't offer as much as other schools, but you tard asses don't want to hear that do you?

To the tard asses saying, "muh Saban mad cuz he c'aint stokpyle dem cruits"- you're idiots. He's literally still bringing in top classes. Damn some of you people are thick and talk out od your asses.

Here's the truth, you all want Alabama to be done and disappear from college football, but it's not happening anytime soon. Alabama doesn't win the championship for 2 years and you all are acting like we have Ears Whitworth coaching at UA. Don't let me interrupt happy time where you boys fantasize about Alabama's demise. I'd hate to bring reality to your shitposting.
